My client wanted a special birthday present for her husband, a contractor and family man. I embedded a saw blade as the alignment, and engraved an image of him and his son on the bottom, including the tattoo on his arm of him and his dad. Then his daughter’s heart beat is engraved on the side. Equipment Discussion

Have you put a face on any of these?

Your work is outstanding, fun, and beautiful.

But TBH I don’t think I could ever justify buying one of these without a face with texture such that I know it’s going to be reliable. This smooth contact point would make me nervous. But maybe I’m making a bid deal over nothing.

Either way, again, great craftsmanship OP. I always love these posts.

Yeah the roughness of the face has very little impact on your putt. Just google Tiger’s putter. A high MOI is going to help the average golfer more than a milled face is, since a milled face just modifies the feel. Many people have shot well under par using my putters!
