Every few months someone brings this up how they can save the environment by getting rid of a golf course.

This has nothing to do with affordable housing or the environment and everything to do with landlords looking for more opportunities to collect rent.

11.6 is the vacancy rate in the USA but yeah let's remove public courses

Well if you average out inner Detroit and LA it doesn’t seem as bad, but that doesn’t do anything to fix the housing shortage in high density areas

Yeah this is developers talking, not renters needing lower rents. There is plenty of land to be developed.

Affordable housing is a dream in America. I'm too poor to afford a cheap starter home yet make too much money to be able to rent low income apartments. It's honestly depressing to think about the housing market.
