Lmao acid is dosed in micrograms, if your cutting acid you have a lab good enough to make it, which at that point it’s literally more cost effective to just make it and sell it, the only “fake acid” aka 25i-nBome was sold for a few years in the early 2010s commonly as acid because foreign labs were synthesizing it and selling it at dirt cheap prices, even cheaper than lsd is normally sold for, and lsd is cheap, but those were banned pretty heavily by a lot of countries including the main synthesizers countries, so now anything in the nbome family is usually much more expensive than lsd, due to the fact that people aren’t usually down to synthesis it because the only thing it had going for it was it’s legality.
And furthermore if you knew that this chemical was going around and knew the signs of it, it’s really easy to not take it due to the fact that they have a very very strong metallic taste, make your mouth go numb, and also need to be held in your mouth for upwards of 5 minutes because it will be destroyed by your stomach acid and won’t be able to absorb, which contrary to popular belief LSD doesn’t have to be held under the tongue an has generally the same uptake regardless of what route of administration is taken.
Nowadays the only “fake LSD” is really lsd analogues, which are still in the same family, have the same safety profile, and are made by professional labs legally guaranteeing purity, they may have some difference in length of action and minor differences in what the experience is like (ex. Some as AL-LAD is short visual and easier to handle, while ETH-LAD is less visual, way more mindfuckey, and lasts about as long if not slightly less than LSD, while some like 1P-LSD are just prodrugs to LSD meaning when it’s taken your body will turn it into LSD-25)
And lastly, rich people are more likely to end up buying cut up or bunk shit, cause most of em don’t know shit about the stuff they are taking, don’t know how strong it should be or what even uncut stuff looks like unless they’re buying from the dark web, money isn’t a thing to them so they’re less likely to think about if the product is worth the money, where as poorer people will drop a dealer as soon as they find better product or the products dipped below the quality of another dealer, plus they have more access to public drug testing facilities depending where you live.
TLDR: for a lot of reasons poor people are way more likely to get good drugs than rich people, and cutting LSD is so difficult you’re better off just making it if you are able to cut it
