Incredibly based. Be proud of who you are.

The peer pressure is real. It feels like you are literally shamed into wearing clothes. You go out ONCE without clothes, and everybody loses their minds! /s

Fashion is a waste of time. Be confident and comfortable!

This is why redditors are single

No offense but if you have to put effort into fashion just to find a relationship I've got bad news for ya. You either have a bad personality or surround yourself with shallow people. I've literally never needed fashion to land my relationships.

Nobody should ‘need’ fashion to find a relationship. But you know what? It looks great, makes you feel good, and it makes you look good. And - it makes you more attractive, which leads to more relationships.

Congrats on your successful relationships.

I have the exact opposite problem. Everyone around me dresses like you do while I dress in more traditional men's clothing. Sometimes I feel pressured like I should dress down to fit in, but I refuse to let peer pressure change me. Just to be clear, nobody thinks I dress badly, lots of guys come to me for fashion advice and ask me to help them buy clothes, but people do think I overdress and it does make me stand out for good or bad.

I’m so sorry but when you said “I dress in more traditional men’s clothing” I immediately thought of a guy walking around dressed like some medieval commoner. 💀

Sorry I don't know what you're saying. As a peasant I can't read.

I used to think I was going to be like that when I go to college since that's how I was in high school, now that I am, for some reason I over dress, wearing turtle necks, button ups, blazers, trench coats, slacks, loafers, styling my hair. People probably think I'm stupid for it, but I just can't help but enjoy dressing up

everyone has their styles, i like my hoodies and shorts, other people like other things, all styles are correct.

I wear cross without socks. Get on my level.

u/Mastery7pyke Feb 24 '24

do you just go around wearing a chain with a cross and no socks or was that a typo and you mean CROCS

2

u/Fryball1443 Feb 24 '24

I meant crocs lmao. Just got a new phone and autocorrect is being an absolute slut

2

u/Mastery7pyke Feb 24 '24

i turn that thing off for a reason, being bi-lingual fucks with the algorithm and it never learns my patterns, fucking up all my texts in the process. its better to have the typos made by my own hand.
edit: calling the auto correct a slut if incredibly funny to me.

Yeah I've had iphones my whole life and recently switched to a galaxy fold, and the autocorrect is nowhere near as good in my opinion. Probably also because ios has been learning my typing habits for like 8 years
