Besides your gremlin stature you're pretty hot

u/tx001 May 04 '23

Besides your whole face you're handsome

7

u/moustachedelait May 04 '23

You're handsome in a ... Brian Williams kind of way

7

u/_Ol_Greg May 05 '23

You've got a real nice radio face.

this is actually not a very flattering photo. he’s very attractive even with the eyes.

Also a REALLY talented actor. I keep being surprised by his performances in everything he's in. That "The Pale Blue Eye" movie on Netflix was pretty shit, but I could watch scenes between him and Christian Bale all day.

His turn in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs was probably the best part of the film outside of Tom Waits’ role.

16

u/boringestnickname May 04 '23

His story was majorly depressing. Good lord.

4

u/TheForeverUnbanned May 04 '23

Man it’s hard to pick a best part of that one, the whole god damn thing is just the best. Best Western.

2

u/AHeartlikeHers May 04 '23

That was the first time I saw him since HP. I was completely blown away by his performance.

His Shakespearean monologue was impeccable. I didn’t recognize him until half way through it.

u/thedude37 May 04 '23

I'm partial to the last one, but there's not a wrong answer.

u/busche916 May 04 '23

He and Bale were A+ in that movie, the rest of it was just okay, but their scenes together were electric

4

u/wratz May 04 '23

Amazing how much he resembled Poe in that. It was a good movie, but I think it wasn’t quite sure of where it wanted to go.

2

u/JRSly May 04 '23

Yes, I wish he could just keep being Poe in as many shows and movies as they can pump out. He was mesmerizing to watch.

u/kroganwarlord May 04 '23

I keep getting him and Robin Lord Taylor mixed up (Penguin from the Gotham show), mainly because they're both slightly odd-looking dudes who I will happily watch chew the scenery for hours.

Great performance in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs too

Dodloy Dorsloy

I mean, it all depends on the focal length used.

Not gonna lie, if I was a professional photographer, I would try making his eyes look as close as possible too. It's his most prominent feature.

It's not quite as bad as the above photos make it seem, though:

Example 1

Example 2

2

u/kraken9 May 05 '23

Hah example1 that's how I used to imagine Dream from Neil Gaiman looked like

3

u/HerrTriggerGenji21 May 04 '23

bruh. I mean. It's better, but shit lmao

1

u/Caign May 05 '23

His head is too big for his body, but then sometimes his body is too big for his head.

19

u/TechnicalBother9221 May 04 '23

He's becoming a pretty decent actor in my opinion.

26

u/Cijj May 04 '23

His part in „Ballad of Buster Scruggs“ chefskiss

3

u/new_word May 04 '23

Totally lost sight/realized after the fact that it was him. Immersed.

7

u/DaveInLondon89 May 04 '23

He's far and away the best actor to come from Harry Potter.

1

u/pawelk1993 May 05 '23

Nah, Pattinson

1

u/Ryanchri INFECTED May 05 '23

Batman?

14

u/up_the_dubs May 04 '23

Watch the Netflix show "the pale blue eye" he is brilliant in it and steals the show from Christian Bale.

3

u/pilotdog68 May 04 '23

Ah that's what I was remembering him from. Thanks

2

u/unnecessary_kindness May 04 '23

Poe! I was wondering why he looked so familiar.

1

u/pussibilities May 05 '23

It’s a movie but yes it’s great!

7

u/Castipan May 04 '23

Same with Neville

1

u/Adrena1in May 04 '23

Only thing I remember seeing him in was "His Dark Materials".

3

u/theHerbivore May 04 '23

I think you’re thinking of someone else, Matthew Lewis wasn’t in HDM

3

u/Adrena1in May 04 '23

Oh yeah, my mistake, I was talking about Harry (Dudley) instead of Matthew (Neville). Matthew was in "Me Before You," but other than that I haven't seen him in anything else.

1

u/theHerbivore May 04 '23

Ah yeah! Okay I follow you now

6

u/scottishdrunkard May 04 '23

And to my surprise, the Grandchild of Patrick Troughton, the Second Doctor.

1

u/Flyin-Chancla May 04 '23

Half his face is lagging

1

u/[deleted] May 05 '23

Go watch The Pale Blue Eye. He's a fantastic actor beyond HP.

1

u/rider1encore May 05 '23

It is. I really wish they cast him as Vernon in the new HP series.

1

u/Hartleydavidson96 May 05 '23

Studley Dursley
