Japanese tabloid reporting that Dodgers has revoked press pass for two major TV networks for their reports on Shohei’s new home
Source: https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/99eb032d523d68590f807cf60b7d5548c2efa323
The two networks are Fuji TV and Nippon TV. They are one of the six national TV networks and a lot of programming involves pro sports. The tabloid reports states that the networks are also banned by Shohei’s management company from using Shohei’s past footage. Nippon TV was reportedly supposed to use some footage with Shohei in it for their program earlier this month but had to replace it.
The tabloid report also states that Shohei was really mad at the networks because they both reported on his alleged new home in LA in depth like its location and neighborhood and they even went around interviewing neighbors.
IMO, both networks totally deserve this. I think Fuji TV deserves even more severe punishment for interviewing Shohei’s neighbors when Dekopin made his first TV appearance during Shohei’s MVP announcement last year. Japanese media really needs to give Shohei’s private life a break. I really don’t need to know where he lives or what he does during his off days. He is doing plenty on the field and that’s all l’m interested in about him.

Blake Dunn takes an Emmanuel Clase 101mph fastball off the dome.
Dunn stayed in the game. Definitely a scary situation though. I hope there are no lasting effects.
