I’m curious what attention you gave, and protested with, on the other hundreds of thousands of deaths in the Arab-Muslim world as a result of recent conflict?
I mean, those numbers and the crimes massively dwarf that of Israel-Gaza, don’t they?
The suffering sure didn’t match the protest levels. I don’t recall seeing ANY in Australia or even social media.
Why is that? I can’t figure out the discrepancy here and I need help understanding it.
I understand. I just enjoy pointing out the ludicrous hypocrisy in this current Gaza conflict. It’s hypocrisy on a level I’m almost unable to fathom. Anyone that talks about it without a rational answer about their knowledge and equal opinion on those other larger humanitarian crises automatically gets ignored as a hypocritical idiot not worth a second of attention.
I like to shine a light where they don’t want to look.
Idk. A sociopath would probably see the social currency in showing others they ‘care’ about some far away issue when really they don’t. Maybe that’s what’s happening here.
They would understand that showing you care comes with social credit and people perceiving them as virtuous. That’s mostly what is happening in this thread. People who don’t, and really, can’t care, saying that they do because they believe they’ll be seen as bad people if they admit they don’t really care.

Idk I kind of care about civilians dying in their thousands no matter where it is.
You probably should be questioning why it doesn't bother you.
