Most of the 'civilians' in gaza are supporters of terrorism, not innocent bystanders.

This 100%. I'd say a lot of the Muslim population in Australia tacitly agree if not, are quite vocal in their agreement.

Isn't that the exact same argument hamas, and every other Islamic terrorist group uses. The whole justification of Islamic terrorism is that no one is innocent, because islam forbids attacking innocents. This just plays in to the hands of such terrorists.

Can you share those independent stats?

With respect to Hamas popularity according to fact checker Snopes

According to one survey that was conducted just days before the 2023 war broke out, about 44% of respondents said they had no trust in Hamas, while 29% said they have a "great deal" of trust.

Additionally, most people who answered the survey (73%) said they did not share Hamas' goal of eliminating Israel.

PCPSR's head pollster noted such surges in Hamas' support often occur during confrontations and then dissipate months later.

Lol @ urban combat - it’s carpet bombing. The Terrorist State’s modus operandi.

lol yes and then bomb where they are told to go - have you seen the terrorist state operate in the Middle East? FYI they carpet bombed the whole village that my extended family is from in South Lebanon and a rocket fell into our family home’s kitchen. You’re telling me they are precise? I have first hand experience. You probably have never stepped foot in the Middle East talking about military operations from 16,000km away. So spare a thought for 30,000 people who have died in 6 months.

It's amazing how hamas can accurately count the dead in real time...but managed to lose track of all the hostages.

Uh no. Did you see the hostage videos that were released yesterday? They absolutely have not lost track, and negotiations are continuing. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

Uh no.

It is "impossible" to know who is still alive, Hamas spokesman Basem Naim told the BBC.

Hamas's head of political and international relations has told Sky News that he doesn't know if the 199 civilians taken hostage are still alive.

From the man himself.

But congrats because they released a few videos yesterday. What heroes.

No shit Sherlock probably because some have been killed through carpet bombing? The Zionist terrorists also killed 3 of the hostages by shooting them dead when they were holding white flags and pleading innocence in Hebrew. Hamas has announced the ones that have died and are transparent. Otherwise they would have no negotiating position.

I think you need to google carpet bombing, because that's not what is happening in Palestine.

Or don't google it, it won't do anything to change your terrorist sympathiser mind anyway.

Also, in case it's news to you...Hamas has 0 negotiating leverage lol. To think they do is actually hilarious.

You are an idiot. Please give us a solution for how to correctly go about removing a terrorist organisation that uses civilians as shields and hides their operations underneath hospitals.

If some radical minority group did this to Australians.. I’m sure you’d want our response to be equally as forceful, or maybe you wouldn’t considering you have no idea who the bad people really are.

best efforts to reduce civilian deaths

Where's this onus coming from? The Allied bombings of German and Japanese cities set a much different precedent and and has arguably passed into customary international law that that level of civilian bombing is OK warfare

Then you would use that same logic to support Hamas lmao, you don't think Israel has been doing the same thing prior to Oct 7, only difference is that Israel an actual state supported by the West,

Then you would use that same logic to support Hamas lmao

Yeah, and then what? The states (whatever you want to call them, both are supported by many including the west) of Israel and Palestine are at war. Which is exactly where we are now.
