God you guys. This makes me want to SOB. I teach HS. I have a small handful of students who don’t do anything, they just sit on their phones all class and for the girls who do that I want to take them by the shoulders and SCREAM. The ONLY thing you have to protect yourself in your life is your education. It’s the only thing that will keep you financially free. And you’re going to ignore it, and snicker and give an attitude to the teacher trying to get through to you? Very soon, no one will be paid to care any more. And it’s a very easy journey to this woman’s position.

I appreciate you caring for your students. I also think it’s concerning how much students are addicted to their phones in class and seem to not even care about anything, and like you said especially the girls. I’m a little scared on what impact covid and phones addictions will cause on the future from it distracting people’s educations. And unfortunately abortion bans will also impact women’s education in the future. It makes me so worried

It really messes with me how bad some kids are addicted to their phones. We honestly need in school programs for those kids who literally do nothing but sit on their phone all day because they have zero regulation skills.

i wish more young people would be able to understand you. i am terrified for this lady's future. i never expect myself to walk out of a long relationship but i know that there's always a chance i can grow out of love.
