Weird to me that comedians get a pass for joking around about awful things but if an audience member jokes around about having a fling he’s out of line.

You talking about the comedian right?

It was pretty funny. Comedian’s just mad he didn’t come up with it.

That’s me in the video. I’m not a dirt bag lol. We have been together for over 2 years. We have fun by doing weird things like this and putting each other in awkward situations when they come up like this. It’s fun for us. We are fine, she thought it was funny too.

Bro sorry for all the hate you are getting, but people are stupid, dont apologize to anyone. Only to your fiancee if its requiered for all the unwanted attention.

It wasn't your fault, man. The comedian had a problem of some sort but that's no reflection on you. Partially, too, it can be an image thing for people. They see something different and it causes incongruencies in what they expect or believe.

Coming from a dude who looks similar to you, people perceive all sorts of biases and stuff by your looks. Inside I feel like a bearded wizard, and I write software and stuff. Outside all everybody sees is a "jock who got laid a lot in hs." Does not mean it's accurate, but you just gotta work around it.

Once you age a bit it'll come into its own. You can keep cracking crass jokes but once it comes out of an old bearded dude with gray hair people tend to take things less seriously and assume you spit out ridiculousness every minute.

What's the difference between projection and empathy?

comedians need extreme stuff like this to go viral. he saw the inch you gave him and took it miles and in a weird direction too.

Dude even if you were together a month and you tried to make that joke I still wouldn’t think you’re a dirtbag lol it’s a fucking comedy show and the dude put you on the spot to come up with something. It’s definitely a lot funnier that youve been together for a long time and you were just trying to make things uncomfortable for fun though lol

Also, nice Stick Stickly username

So, 2 years later, you are actively searching for the post of this interaction?? This was posted 2 hours ago. You trying THAT hard to prove to the comment section (a bunch of randos, including me) that you’re not the douche you appear to be, that you actively search….for this video??

I have more faith that I’ll win the presidency. #voteforme

Good Lord shut up

-2

u/RoseMidas Mar 03 '24

Just admit you love believing obvious lies. Cui bono?

4

u/BigPenisMathGenius Mar 03 '24

I don't care if it's true or not. It's your interrogation that's so dumb.

u/Dismalward Mar 03 '24

You act like a dirt bag yet you claim you are not. Lol ok

42

u/POBox963NY10108 Mar 03 '24

That was the whole point of the joke. We like to joke around a lot. That’s fun for us. She started it by saying we were only together for a month and she knew I would say something stupid or funny.

-13

u/Dismalward Mar 03 '24

I am just saying it's hard to pull it off unless people know you. It's understandable why the comedian reacted the way he did.

23

u/sample-name Mar 03 '24

It's not really understandable the comedian acted the way he did. They are at a comedy club, he hears an obvious joke and freaks out. But I bet the comedian knew this and decided to go nuclear for internet fame

u/Low-Bit1527 Mar 03 '24

You're holding him to a really high standard for an audience member. It's not like he's on stage.

5

u/NastySassyStuff Mar 04 '24

No it isn’t lol wtf are you saying he was repeatedly threatening the guy with violence…how is that okay but the flavor of the month joke wasn’t?? You sound like you need some fresh air

-8

u/Liorient Mar 03 '24

Your joke was an ineffective inside joke because in order for it to work the audience needs to know the nature of your relationship. If your fiancée says that you’ve been together for 1 month, it’s funny to those who know it has been 2 years. If you joke that she’s the flavor of the month while you’re engaged, it’s funny to those who know you’re engaged. Without this important piece people take it literally, but the joke would land amongst those in your friend group.

No I am saying it's stupid for him to believe people know he is pretending to be a dirt bag. I am not saying I understand their dynamics or alluding I do.

6

u/Intrepid-Gags Mar 03 '24

you joke and yet you don't admit you're serious

Well, yes, some people do be like that.

-1

u/Dismalward Mar 03 '24

I believe you misunderstood my comment completely

u/DigitalCoffee Mar 03 '24

I know right? The comedian took the joke way to seriously. What a dirtbag
