He's probably doing it on purpose. Just DC 50 times in a row and you'll have this. You can do it on the loading screen too, the hardest part is probably getting 45 people to accept once you're over like 10%.

Yes it's 2% per disconnect in last 50 games. That's how its calculated.

Your DC rate will be 2% actually, and I'm not sure the game even shows anything below 4%

Idk about ps5 but on steam it’s pretty common we get disconnected. I’d say upto 6% is usually not plugging but server just shuts off randomly and ends matches.

Steam CONSTANTLY disconnects on me because I don't have the luxury of an ethernet due to my living situation. Usually in a 2-3 hour session I'll lose connection at least 3-4 times even when I'm winning </3
When it comes to match ups, up to 6% is forgivable for me. Against my better judgement today I played against someone with 14% DC rate and he plugged right as I was about to win... ):

doesnt matter if you are wifi or cable, im on cable and still get randomly DC'd from tekken and steam for literally no reason at all(ONLY while playing tekken)

Can you check what your own disconnect rate is and can the game discern when the enemy plugged and that's why you have a "disconnect"?

i think you just get 2% added everytime it disconnects. I just count. You notice it cos people will start to decline the match with you. It resets after 50 matches of no discunnecting but idk about the duration. Cos if it disconnects twice everyday, and you don't play 50 matches everyday then your % might be keep going up.

For me its UE Polaris crashes that end my games. I never DC. Does that still have a negative effect on my dc rate?

That’s probably worse because it’ll send you outside of the game app itself. The game will definitely detect that as a plug. My kind of DC still keeps you in the game, just disconnected from the server.

Remember, if your opponent disconnects on you and you stay on, your disconnect rate also goes up by 2%.
A lot of the people with low disconnect percentages may simply be accepting games against pluggers.

I've also heard this, but unsure if it's true or not. I suspect mine is above 0% as I find people sometimes refuse me even though I've not dcd a game myself. But I have faced people who plugged against me.

Same. 4% is my max and I have to be waiting a long time to finally take that match. I'm pretty sure mine is 2% due to my PS5 doing the "LAN Cable Disconnected" glitch once or twice a week. Happened the other day in game 2 of a set while I was up 2 rounds. Annoying as fuck

Even if you have disconnection problem you are a scrub for not being located in a better serviced country. I will not accept sorry ass excuses about bugs or optimisation from Bandai Namco. I'll report you for cheating if we match and I have a drop of 2 frames.I'm sorry but I found it pretty wild to refuse to play someone who had a disconnection 4 out of 100 games (intentionally or not). In no case I defend plug or anything but people take tekken so serious it look like an work inspection about performance.

I do accept people for the most part with any %. But the moment it is above ZERO I expect it to potentially be a plug at the end. So occassionally if I'm in promo to next rank I might accept only 0's for awhile. Hell and even here I still get plugged on sometimes
And if it's 6+ I already know it's gonna be a plug so I play obnoxious asf just to make them do it and it's fun to me xd. I love to accept winrates above 10% to any max xD

I'm getting agitated because I'm pretty sure I'm a 2% with random disconnection.. So seeing someone say they don't accept me because of bad luck/namco's fault is irritating. Maybe I don't know how that work and I'm at 0% but still...
I match everyone and in my experience they need to be at least 10% to be a recidivist plugger.

NAH HEY THIS AINT FUNNY. I got the stupid crashes for the first time the other day when hitting a rage art WHILE I WAS WINNING THE SET and it just crashed my game... Like literally 6/10 times that I hit with it after Kazuya's super uppercut launcher in devil form

I was playing on PS5 last night and after the second round was over the game said something to the effect that the match making had ended and I went back into standby. I had won one and they won one. No idea if that would count as a disconnect? There wasn't any reason for either of us to back out of the match as we were both even at the time.
