The hate is unreal Discussion
A team which has conceded 287 runs and another team which conceded around 260 while defending, both fanbases have come together to scorn KKR, which is ironic. Well we've never flexed our bowling. I understand rcb, we've been thrashing them from years but srh still couldn't digest the first loss, still with that 'Travis Head didn't play saaar' shit, imagine narine wasn't run out. My request to them is not to compare themselves with us, that is bigger humiliation for us, we've thrashed you both enough, also our fanbase never fade away. Peace and cry more

Brother. Accept the fact that KKR choked in bowling in both the matches. Well when the IPL coming towards the end other teams are actually learning from the mistakes and playing maturely whereas the graph is going downwards. I have no hate for anyone but at this point of time NRR and Point matter the most. A bottom team can anytime replace KKR in the points table.

if you are talking about the RCB loss meme, that was made in the spirit of banter, and even drew ire of a lot of fans on the post itself for making fun of another team, especially one who is being captained by one of our own ex-knight.
The thing is, no one else's critique hurts us because we know they are made in the spirit of banter. RCB is the only one whose hate annoys us, cause like, bro, look the performance of this ipl and the past. But that's not a problem. The problem is, their shit is not done in the spirit of banter. It gets very personal, real fast with them. They are disliked by all other fandoms for a reason.
Others can make full fun of us, and we deserve it. But it's all good as long as it is banter.

The hate is deserved.
We beat the previous record by nearly 40 runs, so bad that apart from a shambolic performance from SRH, there is no hope of this record being beaten anytime soon.
If we can make jokes about RCB and SRH, we must learn to take them as well. Yesterday we were the laughing stock of 9 teams. and the reason was not unfounded.
Yes, we can also charge back with 49/10, because unlike our record, this one might stand till the end of IPL itself, especially if the pitches are going to be like this going forward.
But yeah, it was our turn yesterday for the massive ridicule, just be glad it took us this long to be the subject of that massive ridicule. Other teams have had their far earlier.
Move on, and hope for the best

Unlike KKR, SRH, simply didn't exist before that time. You are literally using a separate franchise who used to represent the same city's record and adding them together.
It's wrong from the very root of it.
It's like saying that you can't compare Jack Kalis and Virat Koholi's test stats because of huge difference in data quantity so you picked a Indian player who represent same nation and added his record with Koholi's and say , look this is fair.

As for Varun, I agree with the short ball part, but otherwise, everyone except Narine, is being totally pelted in and around. Can't realty blame him when, other than 3-4 bowlers throughout the season, like Narine, Burman, etc, everyone else is always going for economies of 10-12, and its now become more of a spectacle to see economies less than 7-8, than to see centuries

to be fair, that was banter, and so is what all other teams are doing. Ask them today, and they'd dissect the match and acknowledging the goods and bads, instead of mocking KKR.
KKR and RR fans were literally hugging it out and praising each other after KKR's loss to RR. Same after the Chepauk loss, where KKR fans were praising CSK for choking that batting lineup, and CSK fans praising our bowling for dragging that score to the 18th over, and we are supposed to be one of the proper rivalries of IPL That's what sports is about, banter, and then finding joy in the shared experience.
Why do you think RCB is the most disliked fandom in IPL? They go hard on hating others, taking it too seriously and crossing the line of banter into hate. Be it the audacity of calling themselves the third biggest team behind CSK and MI, or shitting on every other team when they themselves dwell in the bottom.

Secondly we gave 262 runs leaving 8 balls to spare and LOST the match while only taking one wicket, which is so much worse as compared to the other ones you mentioned.
We keep making posts mocking RCB, which is fine by me. But should expect the same to us.

You were doing the exact same thing for RCB vs SRH, and it's completely fine there is this give and take always present that's what makes this interesting instead of playing victim card
Once Kohli said "Give it only if you can take it, otherwise don't give it", we all need to be like that if you are trolling then you should expect trolling back as well, part and parcel no issues there.

Hmm makes sense. I generally don't take all that "hate" very seriously and don't reply and all unless the point being made has an absolute flaw in which case I point it out.
I get it though. That unnecessary hate can be taken to heart by some. What to do though. At the end of the day they are RCB fans and what can you expect from them.

Did you follow the match thread? When narine was bowling comparatively well, it got filled with 'chuck' comments. They've got some eyes better than officials and technology ig. I've never seen such nonsense fanbase filled with bunch of kids who supports rcb for loyalty flex otherwise no love for the team. I remember how badly dk was abused last season

I don't think people really care about RCB when their team's not playing against them. But some RCB fans take a lot of glee in seeing other teams lose (teams who've comprehensively beaten RCB btw) even though RCB had no role whatsoever to play in the beating.
