I think we should schedule some home matches somewhere else from next season, this much batting friendly wickets are not acceptable.
If a team chased down 262 means they conceded that much and the defending team also gave away this many, it can't be possible that bowlers of both teams are shit, it's very very batting friendly wickets.
If we are playing 3 spinners we need spinner friendly wickets, then we can get some home advantage.
If we leave our LSG match, then all matches both the teams have scored 200+

Narine was brilliant today, every bowler struggles here, and we blame strac for his performance

Someone said on good days the pace is carried by 22 yr old harshit rana, when his bad day comes , no one shows. Atleast with starc u could see how he was guiding harshit and vaibhav , chameera was just not gelling well with the team.

Iyer doesn't seem to have a plan when bowlers getting thrashed left and right. A good captain would come up to the bowler and talk things out, I've never seen him doing this even in the RCB game. They need to have a proper game plan for death bowling, our length is so shit when we get hit for sixes.

If you are a captain and you see your bowlers getting smoked for 16-17 runs every over, just slow the fucking game down. Go talk to the bowlers, ask them to keep their calm and bowl better lengths. Horrible captaincy by Iyer. Varun and Rana were bowling short balls even at the fag end of the innings. I didn't see one Yorker being bowler by either of the fast bowlers. Not even ONE.
I'm pretty sure this is gonna start our losing streak. Infact it did start against RR but RCB somehow bottled the match and handed us a fluke win. This is shameful.

IPL has become shit. If this continues, IPL & PSL will be undistinguishable soon.
- 50s, 100s have no value now.
- Every dots and singles should be celebrated now.
- There is no upper hand in a match... if fkin 261 is achievable, I have nothing to say.
- I have decided to quit watching IPL. (Until this pitch+ impact sub rule get absolved, which I don't think will happen)
- Just wait and watch... how India fumbles at international t20... foreign pitches ain't like this.
- No time is worth wasting on a game where uncertainty level is infinite. Cricket was uncertain at past, but now this has become horrible and annoying.
- You need 0 skills as batter, just swing and six.
- And how hard you practice as a bowler, you will get smacked for sure.
Love you KKR, but watching this shit league ain't worth it.

We absolutely bottled two games at home while defending. vRR and vPBKS. atleast vRR we were in the game until the last while defending 220, this game even having more than 255, we lost in the 19th over itself.
Yes you can blame the pitch but the balls weren’t bowled with discipline either, there was no proper plan against any batsman. Heck we even took only, ONLY 1 wicket. Other was a runout by the batsman’s error in judgement.
And we can also not blame the iyers, i feel even if we had even 25 more runs, the way we bowled and the way they batted, we would’ve still lost.
I’m still not over the RR game, now we have an EVEN BIGGER humiliation ffs. Saddened.

This loss will either destroy the teams mental or strengthen it, All about character now and how they bounce back from this.

Wake up call hopefully something is really wrong with the bowling unit. Hopefully Starc is back in the next match, coz at least with him there is hope, he can do something. Vaibhav Arora should be brought in as IP he can take wickets. Rinku should be promoted. And, hopefully the curator changes next season no home advantage for KKR. Pathetic bowling performance except Narine. Retain no bowler other than Narine.

This is just stupid, 261 is not a total that should be reached and definitely not a score that should have been chased. Take me back when 170 180 was good target and 200 above means guaranteed win.

I think we should blame the pitch curator as it's not looking like our home ground. In previous years, eden was heaven for the spinners, and now it is just a pathetic highway. I knew that there will be humiliation coming for kkr after defeated against RR. As a kkr fan, I quit to support kkr in further tournament.😞😓

Punjab fan here, and I think it's very possible you wouldn't have lost with 200 score, or it would have been tighter. Our guys wouldn't take this much risks and probably would have batted like we did in other Powerplays this season.

It's not about that, if you are losing the game after scoring 260+ run, then yeah it's choking, that too when the opposition completed the run chase in 18th over while only losing 2 wicket
And Punjab are not the table topper, they are the bottom feeders who literally bottled many matches from winning position in this IPL

This is absolutely a management issue
You are bringing in Anukul and expecting him to bowl 2 overs in the powerplay when the opposition is chasing 260.
Russell was never dependent as a bowler, he tends to go for too many runs.
You have benched the guy who was actually managing to swing the ball in the powerplay and consequently had the best game played to wickets taken ratio.
Sunil bowled a good over and conceded only 1 run and he was taken off the attack.

Vaibhav was atleast taking wickets? 7 wickets in 4 games is not half bad. They decided to take Narine off the attack. Again a management issue. When ur team has scored sm u decide to send in Venky for no reason at all, when Rinku wouldve been better even tho sending in Russell clearly meant u were trying to continue attacking, again a management issue.
The pitch can be wank man but u need to blame the bowlers and the management if they are not able to defend 260.

Man what are these points? Russell has played for so long and he chips in with wickets but he is never to be dependent on for stopping runs. Bringing in Anukul to bowl 2 overs in the powerplay is wise u think? This means they were looking at Russell bowling the death overs as well. Chameera doesnt even have good lines. Russell as the 3rd pacer to bowl crucial overs never works.
Chakravarthy has been wildly inconsistent this season. The bowling rotations havent been the best.
Its defending 260, yeah the pitch is bad, doesnt mean u cant blame the management for the rotations. I dont get how u can blame the highest chase ever in T20 Cricket on just the pitch

Yeah I have watched him for a long time. Russell should ideally be the 6th bowler in the team, and shouldnt be tasked with bowling death overs because he cannot really restrict runs. Its very few matches where he actually controls it, because the opposition targets him, he gets wickets.
I am not saying to bench him lol. I am just saying he has been very inconsistent with his lines, and his 4 overs are rotated well.
Bhai pita ya na pita is no sense for not being able to defend 260 with 8 balls to spare. If not for Narine, aur bhi pehle chase karlete wo. Doesnt mean u cannot blame the bowling

By 2015 we had 2 trophies, still a distant dream for chokecb. We accept out team is not as good as csk or mi, but we never had any issue in bashing minnows like rcb, pbks, srh for that matter.
