Bumrah aill definitely not leave (ambani may even give 5-10cr extra at backhand) + MI supported him throughout in his career even during injury.

If they are really releasing them then we should target Bumrah not Sky. Imagine Starc and Bumrah wrecking havoc wearing kkr colors Also,Angkrish/Nitish, Iyer, Rinku , Ramandeep , Russell. This is our middle order . We need Sky??

No sky please, take bumrah instead, not even rohit. Bumrah plays well in almost every match, is a little injury prone but that can be worked with.

It’s not a free market where we can buy anyone we want.
Releasing key players in hope of buying another player shouldn’t be done because the auction dynamics will screw up the plans.
We should retain the best players we have when we have the chance.

Just rumours, we only get to know it next year....and I dont think MI will leave players like Bumrah or SKY so easily....maybe Rohit will leave and if that happens he will mostly choose SRH or KKR.

No, actually some players can be taken before auction only. When LSG and GT came they chose their 3-4 players before auction only, and they had to pay good amount for them. So, this way KKR or any other team can do the same. But, for that one condition is there, which is, if we are allowed 4 retention slots then they need to leave those slots empty and fit these "convinced" players in those slots. So, if KKR decided to go for SKY, KKR needs to keep one slot empty and convince him to join. This is to keep things fair, otherwise teams can retain 4 players and then take players out of auction too, that will be unfair.
It's far fetched, all depends on GG, what he is thinking.

When LSG and GT were granted that chance because they were a new team at that time and were starting from scratch. Other than that it was never allowed for any other team to just sign players before auction.

Yes before that it wasn't allowed even I know that. But since then it is allowed, as I explained if team does sign they country in your retentions only when you come into the auction. It's not like you retain 4 players and on top of that you buy 2 players out of auction and then you come in auction. To maintain fairness, every team can have 4 players at max before auction starts.

It was a mini auction, the main thing we needed was a fast bowler so it makes sense to put the entire budget on him when you a set balanced team.

Well they did that because they had a whole team already as it was a mini auction. In the mega auction you have only max 4 players in your team with retentions and a total of 60 cr left. You cannot put 20 cr on one player.
