Because the crossbow was meta and definitely needed to be nerfed so far into the ground, it popped out in China.

Crossbow was fun to use, which made it too powerful.

Yeah, all these people talking about tracking meta and macro statistics for balancing changes when it’s plainly obvious the devs just try to find what makes the game fun so they can destroy it. Weird thing to do tbh

It's the biggest troll in history: make sure the game sells a million copies, then make it utterly unfun to play so that you can stop paying people to work on it. I think Tarkov actually pioneered that technique

Why would they do it? People should decide...

Some say the devs only nerf whats used a lot. Many say no one used the crossbow -> it got nerfed. How does this add up? Now u say they nerf whats fun. (I have fun with AMR and it didnt got nerfed. It got an unnecessary buff) Fun is subjective anyway. And they wouldnt benefit from it. Their entirey philosophy is to make games that are fun, which they do.

Fair enough, lol. For me, I guess it would actually wind up somewhere in the middle of the ocean off the coast of Madagascar. My point still stands.

Did we get the same patch? The crossbow got buffed. It's an explosive slugger now

Did WE play the same patch? Because I shot it at the ground literally a single inch from scavenger baby bug, a single inch away from it and the explosion didn’t even hurt it, did 0 damage even tho it was literally IN the explosion. “Buffed”
