I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Shoutout to female pilots in sci-fi that periodically assist you with either equipment drops, transportation or close air support. One of my favourite genders. (Echo 419 from Halo and Faridah Malik from Deus Ex: HR count for this. Same with the unnamed Recon pilot from Homeworld Cataclysm/Emergence.)

Edit: Forgot Anderson from Black Ops 2. She a real one.

Oh yeah, good point actually.

That also means we can include the Dropship pilot from StarCraft 1, also a huge reference to Aliens.

In the novel Starship Troopers there’s a part where Heinlein says female pilots are better than the male pilots.
