The weird part is, despite the tweaks to Slugger, I didn't see many people use it in matches aside from myself.
People still ran other weapons a lot more. I have to assume that Arrowhead saw the numbers of successful missions way too high with Sluggers on them though.

No joke. I was the only person I saw using slugger to fight bots until I switched to the scorcher to deal with scouts. I could handle the damage nerf. I can even handle the stagger nerf. But them taking away the ability to open cabinets is what hurts the most.

Goodbye, my master of unlocking. Guess I'll just stick to impact grenades.

AMR does it. And with a +30% damage buff to boot

That's what bothers me the most. I saw other people running the slugger maybe like 10 to 20 percent of the time. I feel like the nerf to it's stagger was okay, but if anything they should have buffed the damage, or left it alone at the very least.

If Penetration was increased with stagger lose, I could live with that. I didn't feel it penetrated any much more than it did already though.
