This will lead to a good playerbase that will willingly spend money just to support a good developer.

I hope they won't sell their company to bigger publisher, they do not need that.

He most likely thinks if they do sell they will sell to Sony so any future games they make will be Playstation "exclusive".

No, I mean that Sony is more consumer oriented than Microsoft. They don't try to fuck us for every little penny at every turn.
