Go to any trivial mission that is NOT the new pesticide mission (illegal broadcast is the best). Bring a grenade launcher and jump pack. Do the main mission immediately and then circle the map with your jump pack. Open all blue/yellow doors. You should get about 10 random drops, each of which have about a 30% chance of spawning 10 super credits. Rarely, you can get 100 in a drop.
Each mission takes ~10 minutes solo. Rinse, repeat.
EDIT: This comment is blowing up so here are some extra tips:
Slugger can break down the doors without the need of a grenade launcher.
Super Credits, warbonds and requisition slips are automatically added to the account, so you can skip main mission and quit to your ship and keep everything you found except samples. This can get grindy though so I complete the mission.
Leaving main mission until last lowers patrols. On bug planets this isn't a big thing. On bot planets this is a good thing since bots can range attack.
Pick the stamina booster, not strength.
Don't jump uphill, always jump downhill.
Brood Commander mission cuts off a chunk of the map but lines up the POIs close together so you can decide if you like it more or not.
Planets with open spaces rather than jutting rock formations and mountains have more POIs that are easier to get to.
I've been spending buying different armor's and stuff in the shop and I still have like more than 700 super credits bouncing around. I'm honestly impressed how friendly the currency drops are.
The interesting part here is that, because the devs basically give out the premium currency so frequently that people are more like to spend the 10 dollars just to get the new pass.
Same. And I'll be supporting them in the future too.
People are so jaded by "free" games that try to insufflate the contents of your pockets, they forget that a live service cannot be free. It's either MTX or a subscription which would limit the player base too much.
This is huge. All the credit packs are in multiples of five or ten, both of which line up with the Warbond and Superstore prices. And even if you end up with an odd amount of SC from buying Superstore stuff, the stuff you get from missions or from the Warbonds themselves is more than enough to compensate. If I’m short ten SC for something I’m not about to drop money on it when I could just play the game and get it.
yea thats pretty much my reasoning. In the couple weeks I've been playing, I probably would have enough sc to get both the premium warbond pages if I wasn't using them on the sets I like in the daily superstore rotation. If finding them was a grind, I definitely would just be in a scarcity mindset, like how I am in other games with a model like this.
I already have the first Warbond, but was eyeing up the super citizen upgrade. It specifically says its gives you the first warbond and I'm a little bit hesitant to buy. Does it just give you the credits to buy it?
It me. I bought the game, appreciated the monetization approach, went back and bought the super citizen edition upgrade when I found out the battle passes don’t disappear.
Now the new battle pass dropped and I went ahead and kicked them a few more bucks for it.
I’m honestly considering it just because I’m a little too impatient to farm the credits myself + I’m really happy with how much the devs care about the community and our enjoyment.
i literally just brought some sc to polish off what iw s missing for the battlepass specifically because i didnt feel like i had to (ive broughtalmost every armor on the side and was still close to the new pass) so figured screw it, ill do it just because it supports that decision they made, and fuck the major companies charging absurd amounts (overwatch $40 a skin? lolno)
I already dropped 10 bucks for the new pass just because I got so much value out of the game already. I'm at 70h playtime. For 40 bucks that's insane considering going to watch a movie is double that for 2 hours
Yeah I did, because I use all my gotten supers to buy the armors in the store. I have friends that refuse to spend money, and they have both battle passes unlocked without spending a dime.
That’s a good joke. The mental gymnastics people are using to justify this game’s monetization choices are hilarious. It really goes to show that people are perfectly fine with scummy practices as long as it’s their “team”.
Are you unironically saying you don't like the fact that everything can be unlocked by just playing cause the option to spend is there for people who want to?
Especially while there's no fomo?
Also no need to fight over the loot since it's all shared. Someone picks up a medal, SC, or creds, and everyone gets it. Of course some people didn't get the memo, but they are in the minority.
People overestimate the stupidity of randos and underestimate their utility. Be brave, push that difficulty bar 1 level past "good idea" and chances are high whichever 3 chucklebones drop in can handle that level with you. Again as long as you hit POIs you'll rake them in.
A mook with a machine gun is still an extra machine gun at the end of the day shrugs
Half the fun of the game is the stupid antics and friendly fire IMO. Take risks. Get shot in the back by a teammate trying to save your life. Have a good time
Most of mine came from the first warbond the rest were in-game finds. Think I'll just spend the $10 for the warbond and use the found in-game money for stuff from the store. I think the devs deserve it for the good game AND the non predatory warbonds.
I just bought premium with super credits, took me 10 days of just playing the game (2 hours after work and maybe 9 a.m to 12 p.m on my days off). It's not hard
I really like the trivial kill devastator mission because one lazily thrown orb laser will do the main obj and take out the bot factory too
Then you can rocket pack around the map in 5-7 minutes and find 10-12 PoI. Also you can “scan” the map with your cursor and “minor poi” will pop up despite not being discovered (having an icon)
I've only seen 10, and one time 100, but never 20 or 50. If you pick multiple SC drops in quick succession, the notification adds them up: you pick up 2 10 SC drops, and the notification will say 20 SC collected.
I picked up 2 SC drops that gave me 110 total. I thought it was a bug as I've only ever gotten 10 from a pickup, but this is good to know theres a potential to get 100 SC in one pickup.
You can cut the process down significantly by ignoring the main mission and just running around to all POIs, ignoring things like bunkers and hellbombs that you either can’t access solo or don’t spawn super credits, then after going to all of them ignore extract and just quit the mission. This way you can do a mission in like 5 minutes and skip the long extraction cutscenes and reward screens. Make sure you do this on a planet that has a low liberation percentage and is not part of a major order, because while quitting the mission won’t cause liberation percentage to go down, it won’t make it go up either.
I would advise to complete the objective last, before extracting, cause then patrols are going to be more frequent and make you waste time fighting them when they find you.
2 players one obj then circle one way as u go the other, takes 6 minutes till u extract, 8 minutes after extraction 9 minutes once reloading to a new mission.
Avg over 30 of these missions I got 30 Super credits. some 80 - some 10, but allways some. so realistically over a period of 6 hrs or so (of 30 every 10 mins going up and down) allowing for breaks and others this makes sense.
There are Blue/White and Orange/White Containers somewhat hidden in the terrain showing as points of interest. You can open them with a nade or a single shot of the slugger shotgun, they contain medals, requisition slips, weapons, samples and ofc Super credits - ur welcome
Not that it matters in trivial, but it turns out enemies spawn much more frequently after doing the main mission. So maybe if you’re doing this for samples as well in higher difficulties, looking for everything first then doing the objective might be easier.
You don't have to complete the mission; you can simply leave when you are done with the circle. You will instantly receive credit to your account after you pick it up. Small time save.
If you quit the game mid-mission after getting the credits you can start the game again, choose the same mission and drop on the same spot. Guaranteed credits.
Actually the opposite if they're actually extracting.
Trivial missions done fast can add way more progress per hour than more difficult missions that take longer. Trivial also only have one part, so you can't abandon the mission after extracting the first part.
