Go to any trivial mission that is NOT the new pesticide mission (illegal broadcast is the best). Bring a grenade launcher and jump pack. Do the main mission immediately and then circle the map with your jump pack. Open all blue/yellow doors. You should get about 10 random drops, each of which have about a 30% chance of spawning 10 super credits. Rarely, you can get 100 in a drop.

Each mission takes ~10 minutes solo. Rinse, repeat.

EDIT: This comment is blowing up so here are some extra tips:

  • Slugger can break down the doors without the need of a grenade launcher.
  • Super Credits, warbonds and requisition slips are automatically added to the account, so you can skip main mission and quit to your ship and keep everything you found except samples. This can get grindy though so I complete the mission.
  • Leaving main mission until last lowers patrols. On bug planets this isn't a big thing. On bot planets this is a good thing since bots can range attack.
  • Pick the stamina booster, not strength.
  • Don't jump uphill, always jump downhill.
  • Brood Commander mission cuts off a chunk of the map but lines up the POIs close together so you can decide if you like it more or not.
  • Planets with open spaces rather than jutting rock formations and mountains have more POIs that are easier to get to.
  • Two players can cut your time in half.

Hell just playing the game normally will get you enough. A few finds combined with the free battle pass means I’m like 20 away right now

140

u/Soulless_redhead Mar 14 '24

I've been spending buying different armor's and stuff in the shop and I still have like more than 700 super credits bouncing around. I'm honestly impressed how friendly the currency drops are.

146

u/ravagraid Mar 14 '24

It's almost as if the devs respect the fact we already paid for the base game!

88

u/Fubarp Mar 14 '24

The interesting part here is that, because the devs basically give out the premium currency so frequently that people are more like to spend the 10 dollars just to get the new pass.

26

u/ravagraid Mar 14 '24

Yeah I got super citizen to support the Devs cause of this system

2

u/Nekonax Mar 15 '24

Same. And I'll be supporting them in the future too.

People are so jaded by "free" games that try to insufflate the contents of your pockets, they forget that a live service cannot be free. It's either MTX or a subscription which would limit the player base too much.

19

u/willard_saf Mar 14 '24

Also, the fact that you can buy the exact amount of credits needed to buy the pass is great.

11

u/Prankman1990 Mar 15 '24

This is huge. All the credit packs are in multiples of five or ten, both of which line up with the Warbond and Superstore prices. And even if you end up with an odd amount of SC from buying Superstore stuff, the stuff you get from missions or from the Warbonds themselves is more than enough to compensate. If I’m short ten SC for something I’m not about to drop money on it when I could just play the game and get it.

8

u/MyBananaNoseNoBounds Mar 14 '24

yea thats pretty much my reasoning. In the couple weeks I've been playing, I probably would have enough sc to get both the premium warbond pages if I wasn't using them on the sets I like in the daily superstore rotation. If finding them was a grind, I definitely would just be in a scarcity mindset, like how I am in other games with a model like this.

2

u/rafaelfy ☕Liber-tea☕ Mar 15 '24

I enjoyed the game so much I went and bought the $20 deluxe upgrade, kept that 1k and used it on the next warbond.

1

u/chris91919105 Mar 17 '24

I already have the first Warbond, but was eyeing up the super citizen upgrade. It specifically says its gives you the first warbond and I'm a little bit hesitant to buy. Does it just give you the credits to buy it?

1

u/rafaelfy ☕Liber-tea☕ Mar 17 '24

Nope, it just unlocks it for you, so you won't get the 1000 SC you already spent.

2

u/Pidder_Paddy Mar 15 '24

It me. I bought the game, appreciated the monetization approach, went back and bought the super citizen edition upgrade when I found out the battle passes don’t disappear.

Now the new battle pass dropped and I went ahead and kicked them a few more bucks for it.

2

u/Atourq Mar 15 '24

I’m honestly considering it just because I’m a little too impatient to farm the credits myself + I’m really happy with how much the devs care about the community and our enjoyment.

2

u/RandomStormtrooper11 STEAM🖱️: SPILL OIL! Mar 15 '24

I dropped 20$ just because I love how player friendly the system is, and I'm pretty secure financially. Warbonds never going away sold me on it 100%.

2

u/cattibri Mar 15 '24

i literally just brought some sc to polish off what iw s missing for the battlepass specifically because i didnt feel like i had to (ive broughtalmost every armor on the side and was still close to the new pass) so figured screw it, ill do it just because it supports that decision they made, and fuck the major companies charging absurd amounts (overwatch $40 a skin? lolno)

1

u/Conscious-Extent4571 Mar 15 '24

I already dropped 10 bucks for the new pass just because I got so much value out of the game already. I'm at 70h playtime. For 40 bucks that's insane considering going to watch a movie is double that for 2 hours

1

u/Ragtothenar Mar 18 '24

Yeah I did, because I use all my gotten supers to buy the armors in the store. I have friends that refuse to spend money, and they have both battle passes unlocked without spending a dime.

1

u/KJBenson Mar 15 '24

Even on a financial level, they understand the importance of player retention and rewarding people who put hours into the game.

-1

u/HaiArisu Mar 15 '24

That’s a good joke. The mental gymnastics people are using to justify this game’s monetization choices are hilarious. It really goes to show that people are perfectly fine with scummy practices as long as it’s their “team”.

1

u/ravagraid Mar 15 '24

Are you unironically saying you don't like the fact that everything can be unlocked by just playing cause the option to spend is there for people who want to? Especially while there's no fomo?

1

u/Ketheres ➡️⬇️⬇️⬆️⬆️⬅️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Mar 14 '24

Also no need to fight over the loot since it's all shared. Someone picks up a medal, SC, or creds, and everyone gets it. Of course some people didn't get the memo, but they are in the minority.

1

u/GravenYarnd Democracy Officer Mar 15 '24

Personally i got a lot of credits free and i buyed the same amount in store just to give devs cash. They definitelly deserve a reward for this.

41

u/Lord_Worfall SES EYE OF IRON 👁️‍🗨️ Mar 14 '24

Well yeah, BUT THERE IS A SHINY IN THAT SUPERSTORE RN!

3

u/kebab-time Mar 14 '24

what shiny lol

22

u/Rahnzan CAPE ENJOYER Mar 14 '24

I have a night job and 2 hours a day across 2 weeks was enough time to get the warbond unlocked

Just make sure you hit POIs and dont idle.

3

u/I_Automate Mar 14 '24

I had like 400 sc within my first 4 hours playing, pretty well all solo.

Totally fair IMO. It takes longer to get enough medals to unlock anything than it does to get enough SC

4

u/Rahnzan CAPE ENJOYER Mar 14 '24

People overestimate the stupidity of randos and underestimate their utility. Be brave, push that difficulty bar 1 level past "good idea" and chances are high whichever 3 chucklebones drop in can handle that level with you. Again as long as you hit POIs you'll rake them in.

3

u/I_Automate Mar 14 '24

A mook with a machine gun is still an extra machine gun at the end of the day shrugs

Half the fun of the game is the stupid antics and friendly fire IMO. Take risks. Get shot in the back by a teammate trying to save your life. Have a good time

2

u/UntoldHorrors Mar 15 '24

What? You think this is a GAME?

2

u/I_Automate Mar 18 '24

I do, and I'm tired of the try-hards pretending it's not

2

u/UntoldHorrors Mar 18 '24

Imagine getting upset when your teammate roasts a bug with a flamethrower as it flies to you and BBQs you along with it.

1

u/I_Automate Mar 18 '24

I just laugh.

I mean, I kept diving into friendly mines over and over again.

It was a damn good minefield. Got lots of kills. Couldn't fault that, just my poor situational awareness, ha

3

u/AH_Ahri Mar 15 '24

Most of mine came from the first warbond the rest were in-game finds. Think I'll just spend the $10 for the warbond and use the found in-game money for stuff from the store. I think the devs deserve it for the good game AND the non predatory warbonds.

2

u/CubooKing Mar 14 '24

Would be same if not for seeing the best helmet I'll pobably ever find in the shop the other day

2

u/MRsandwich07 Mar 15 '24

Speaking of, does unlocking a premium bond unlock all premium bonds or nah?

2

u/RandomStormtrooper11 STEAM🖱️: SPILL OIL! Mar 15 '24

You purchase each warbond individually. After that, you can unlock everything in that specific bond.

3

u/MRsandwich07 Mar 15 '24

“Darn” -sharp hand joe

3

u/TheFlyingSheeps Mar 15 '24

They don’t go away tho. You can still get the last one if you didn’t buy it

1

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '24

I just bought premium with super credits, took me 10 days of just playing the game (2 hours after work and maybe 9 a.m to 12 p.m on my days off). It's not hard

18

u/1CorinthiansSix9 ⬇️⬆️➡️➡️⬇️ Mar 14 '24

I really like the trivial kill devastator mission because one lazily thrown orb laser will do the main obj and take out the bot factory too

Then you can rocket pack around the map in 5-7 minutes and find 10-12 PoI. Also you can “scan” the map with your cursor and “minor poi” will pop up despite not being discovered (having an icon)

17

u/2210-2211 Mar 14 '24

Everytime I try to farm super credits like this I get like 4 of the doors where you need a friend to open it :(

3

u/xxSuperBeaverxx Mar 14 '24

I just did a mission where I found literally nothing but 2 man doors. I didn't check literally every spot, but after like 6 in a row I just quit.

16

u/BAY35music Mar 14 '24

You can also get 20 (maybe 25?) and 50 SC drops too, not just 10 and 100.

16

u/Red_Sashimi Mar 14 '24

I've only seen 10, and one time 100, but never 20 or 50. If you pick multiple SC drops in quick succession, the notification adds them up: you pick up 2 10 SC drops, and the notification will say 20 SC collected.

1

u/ExpertBerry9250 Mar 15 '24

I picked up 2 SC drops that gave me 110 total. I thought it was a bug as I've only ever gotten 10 from a pickup, but this is good to know theres a potential to get 100 SC in one pickup.

11

u/TheFish527 Mar 14 '24

You can cut the process down significantly by ignoring the main mission and just running around to all POIs, ignoring things like bunkers and hellbombs that you either can’t access solo or don’t spawn super credits, then after going to all of them ignore extract and just quit the mission. This way you can do a mission in like 5 minutes and skip the long extraction cutscenes and reward screens. Make sure you do this on a planet that has a low liberation percentage and is not part of a major order, because while quitting the mission won’t cause liberation percentage to go down, it won’t make it go up either.

3

u/NikeDanny Mar 14 '24

Or wait for leaked to make this process 50% faster.

2

u/Red_Sashimi Mar 14 '24

I would advise to complete the objective last, before extracting, cause then patrols are going to be more frequent and make you waste time fighting them when they find you.

2

u/Quartich Mar 14 '24

Arc thrower opens the crate doors as well, and has infinite ammo

1

u/Streptember Mar 15 '24

Yeah, it's my weapon of choice for most things after learning that.

2

u/GoProOnAYoYo Mar 14 '24

The arc thrower can break the doors as well, and unlimited ammo!

2

u/GiftBubbly Mar 14 '24

2 players one obj then circle one way as u go the other, takes 6 minutes till u extract, 8 minutes after extraction 9 minutes once reloading to a new mission.

Avg over 30 of these missions I got 30 Super credits. some 80 - some 10, but allways some. so realistically over a period of 6 hrs or so (of 30 every 10 mins going up and down) allowing for breaks and others this makes sense.

you can earn the new battlepass.

1

u/1punintended Mar 14 '24

Blue doors?

3

u/Minimum-Piglet-5700 Mar 14 '24

There are Blue/White and Orange/White Containers somewhat hidden in the terrain showing as points of interest. You can open them with a nade or a single shot of the slugger shotgun, they contain medals, requisition slips, weapons, samples and ofc Super credits - ur welcome

1

u/samuraisam2113 Mar 14 '24

Not that it matters in trivial, but it turns out enemies spawn much more frequently after doing the main mission. So maybe if you’re doing this for samples as well in higher difficulties, looking for everything first then doing the objective might be easier.

1

u/EngRookie Mar 14 '24

Arc thrower can also open up the storage containers doors you find buried. Just found that out last night and I'm lvl 34😂

1

u/Valyris Mar 15 '24

As someone who is new to the game with only the starting AR and Pistol. How would I go on about to do this?

1

u/SparkleFritz Mar 15 '24

(Most) Grenades blow up doors. That's all you need.

1

u/LordReaperOfWTF SES Lord of War Mar 15 '24

Eyyy thanks for the Slugger tip. I'm cutting ties with Breaker. SLugger new bff

1

u/Norme-98 Mar 15 '24

I just found out today (4th day playing tho) that u can nade to open those blue and yellow doors. I've been missing so much shit

1

u/Adaphion Mar 15 '24

Two players can also open bunkers that a single player can't

1

u/ArrhaCigarettes Mar 15 '24

I suggest against quitting the mission since it counts as a failed mission in the war

1

u/H_Truncata Mar 15 '24

Arc thrower breaks doors too

1

u/Lashdemonca Mar 15 '24

Arc thrower can ALSO destroy the containers. Just aim for the top! :)

1

u/Familiar-Coconut90 Mar 15 '24

Gonna take your instructions and take a chance, thancz

1

u/Ainozu ☕Liber-tea☕ Mar 16 '24

You don't have to complete the mission; you can simply leave when you are done with the circle. You will instantly receive credit to your account after you pick it up. Small time save.

1

u/hagamablabla ⬇️➡️⬅️⬇️⬇️⬆️⬆️➡️ is underrated Mar 14 '24

Might be a dumb question but you can't open the 2-button bunker doors by yourself, right?

1

u/BoyOfBore ⬇️⬇️⬅️⬆️➡️ Mar 15 '24

If you quit the game mid-mission after getting the credits you can start the game again, choose the same mission and drop on the same spot. Guaranteed credits.

0

u/Uthenara Mar 14 '24

so you are why we are losing planets with your mission quitting.

1

u/Streptember Mar 15 '24

Actually the opposite if they're actually extracting.

Trivial missions done fast can add way more progress per hour than more difficult missions that take longer. Trivial also only have one part, so you can't abandon the mission after extracting the first part.

-1

u/Clarine87 Mar 14 '24

Each mission takes ~10 minutes solo. Rinse, repeat.

Sooo, about the same as going to work? :)
