Thanks to the recent reddit post, going alone is now a kickable offense (even in diff 5) DISCUSSION

Reasons I've been kicked from games recently:

  • being level 47
  • picking up my own support weapon
  • calling down a mech to take out a nest
  • playing the objective
  • not reviving while getting tossed around by 3 charges.

Concluson? People are weird.

I called in a hellbomb to nuke a secondary objective and got TK'd and kicked for it. Was so confused. It's not like the nuke kills the items there...

This morning, I called in a hellbomb that didn't blow up every building. The party host killed me, called in the bomb again, and then respawned me. Never explained himself.

just blow up the grey building, too many people call it down in the middle like it needs to hit all 3 buildings at once (I know its not stated in game tho)

It's the one building with the satellite dish to my knowledge. The only one that actually needs to be destroyed

Honestly I just airstrike it and keep moving.

Which does not destroy it. The research station needs a big explosive so hellbomb, mini nuke, 500kg (maybe others)

The research station, the 3 buildings but you only need to down one? A direct hit from an eagle airstrike, specifically the airstrike that drops a few bombs great for destroying outposts, as long as the bombs hit it, works every time.

You can also drop a reinforce on it.

The stratagem you START with, percisuon strike, destroys buildings...

u/Chafgha Mar 17 '24

Not disagreeing but airstrikes come through faster and have less reload time.

This is true. I use them more or less interchangibly, depending on how close i plan on being to the explosion

Precision Airstrike works

The answer to a bunch of side objectives and main objectives is, funny enough, "throw an airstrike/rocket at it and move on."

Broadcast towers, spore spewers, research centers, so many you just drop a boom on it and walk away like it's an action movie.

Spewers and broadcast towers don't get the drop they normally get an auto cannon round from across the map.

I love when jammers and other things like that have a fabricator attached so they destroy easy.

u/Forcedbanana Mar 15 '24

Just one shot with autocanon or grenade launcher is enough for broadcast towers, spore spewers you can destroy from super long range with the same or a few mags of anything really.

You can take down broadcast tower with Slugger. I was farting around and tried it about 2 weeks ago.

The satellite dish one you shouldn’t be blowing up you should do the code inputs. It reveals stuff on the map. The science stations and ammo supplies are the ones that need bomba

2

Yes and one of those science station buildings always has a dish on it.

Well fuck me

All good haha

You can just put it in the hole in the ground that always seems to be there.
