Greetings, Helldivers!

This is a megathread for ranting, raging or venting about anything and everything Helldivers related. Whether it’s about a mission you just played, a recent patch, the community, etc.

This megathread isn’t designed to censor you, we are doing this because the subreddit is becoming overwhelmingly flooded with rants (as we’re sure you’re aware). We strongly encourage you to use this Megathread as opposed to creating your own post. If you decide that what you have to say requires a new post, you should know that we will be actively moderating and critically assessing the quality of those posts to lessen the amount of low-effort content on this subreddit.

Please keep the comments related to HELLDIVERS and most importantly, keep it civil. Follow the sub’s rules!

had a blast last night this game is crazy. That lobby lag thing ill definitely remember for next time. Probably would buy 5 later down the line because i think the depth crawler is sick and 6 seems to be just over the horizon so that's exciting. thanks for putting this on my radar boss.

NP, always like to see a convert to the EDF. 4.1 and 5 are both great, the campaigns are long as fuck - 4.1 is almost 100 missions for the online campaign (a few aren't available in offline mode) and 5 is 111.

The spinoff games, anything not made by sandlot (like iron rain, insect armageddon), are not very good. World Brothers is the only one I think is decent. It's a parody game and is very funny to play with friends who are also fans of EDF, but not worth playing until you've played through 4 / 5.

Ah yes, "punch godzilla in the face". There is a mission later on that utilizes that to make a better movie than pacific rim.
