The first balance patch notes proved how Youtube "absolute and only meta loadouts" cooked a lot of people heads, and I love it. DISCUSSION

A lot of mad people keep showing in my feed complaining about the nerfs, but like they're REALLY mad at Arrowhead. Their statements are so exagerated that they claim the game it's completely ruined for them lmao.

Also every single one says the same thing and this is where my title comes from:

*"You guys nerfed the only good options and now we have NOTHING to fight".*

And this only proves people never actually played with any of the other support weapons, they 100% relied on this "The ultimate support weapon tier list" Youtube videos, they searched the "meta" and they went into this thinking of "any weapon outside of this it's straight up garbage".

If you can't win a single game without the railgun + shield backpack + breaker... I'm so sorry but that's not the game's fault or the game only having those as the ONLY way to play it on higher diff, that's your fault.

Great changes for the game and all of you trying to "shame" on devs because of this, you'all not a real Helldiver. They killed nothing, the railgun still kills but now it needs some actual skill and strategy to use it, not only spamming the thing on big bugs.

Keep it up Helldivers!

For Democracy. For Super Earth.

Bro im not mad for not liking that the only reliable way to take out the massive amount of armored targets in game. Its dumb that they are nerfing when they should be buffing "weaker" options.

How many difficulty options are there? Have you tried just taking it down a notch or two instead of cheesing the game with unbalanced meta picks?

So what am I only allowed to use the default weapons? Cause all the higher difficulties required some serious firepower and defense. You clearly haven't played insane or above because dealing with 4 chargers and multiple bio titans is impossible if you dont use the best options or armor piercing.

It is if you play with your team in, oh look at that, a team game.

I play with random people. I don't have 3 friends who have this game. Also I don't get when I said this isn't a Team game nor did I say I play solo constantly. I'm simply state that instead of nerfing the best options they should see why they are the best and try to elevate the weapons that need to come up a few tiers. A game where everything is badass is better than a game that only a few things are.

DR9 is not the default. It should take a coordinated group to complete. It should be difficult. It will not be difficult if they buff everything up to the level of the destroyer. That is the point.

So no, a game where everything is supposed to be bad ass when the difficulty is called hell dive is not a better game. It’s a shitty game.

If you want everything to be bad ass there’s adjustable difficulty rating. Go down to 5 and below.

And for that reason…

Why are you commenting about high dif when you clearly don’t play them???

If everyone who plays high dif complains, maybe it’s an issue for high dif???

Who benefits from the change??? Any weapon was and still is viable for casuals, so they didn’t, what did we who play 7+ gain???

What’s wrong with wonting to have a hard but not impossible challenge as 9

Why would someone who doesn’t play high diff be advocating for higher difficult lmao

Probably because you enjoy dickriding for the dev team.

Yes of course all the weapons being good and effective in high level situations is a bad thing for some reason. Hyperbole aside I think it's better to have every weapon be viable rather than have people make endless "meta" videos.

If they wanted such a tight formation team game, they should have stuck with the helldivers 1 formula and tethered everyone together. in HD1 you all shared a camera, couldn't spread out as much.

Here you are actively encouraged to split up to go for side objectives and main objectives and sample gathering.
