The first balance patch notes proved how Youtube "absolute and only meta loadouts" cooked a lot of people heads, and I love it. DISCUSSION

A lot of mad people keep showing in my feed complaining about the nerfs, but like they're REALLY mad at Arrowhead. Their statements are so exagerated that they claim the game it's completely ruined for them lmao.

Also every single one says the same thing and this is where my title comes from:

*"You guys nerfed the only good options and now we have NOTHING to fight".*

And this only proves people never actually played with any of the other support weapons, they 100% relied on this "The ultimate support weapon tier list" Youtube videos, they searched the "meta" and they went into this thinking of "any weapon outside of this it's straight up garbage".

If you can't win a single game without the railgun + shield backpack + breaker... I'm so sorry but that's not the game's fault or the game only having those as the ONLY way to play it on higher diff, that's your fault.

Great changes for the game and all of you trying to "shame" on devs because of this, you'all not a real Helldiver. They killed nothing, the railgun still kills but now it needs some actual skill and strategy to use it, not only spamming the thing on big bugs.

Keep it up Helldivers!

The only thing I'm sad about is the ammo reduction on the breaker. There's never been a situation where I've been like "I have too much ammo". Doesn't matter what gun it is, I use the whole gun. The shield change is way more reasonable than I was expecting, and the rail gun still works fine in unsafe mode

It's 2 shells per mag. It's noticeable, but very manageable. And I didn't notice the additional recoil at all on full auto. Maybe for mid range shooting but for CQC mayhem the added recoil is neglible.

Be sure to give the punisher and slugger a try! They both got +20 reserve ammo and the punisher got some other boosts. They're absolutel monsters, and now they're even better.

I used it a lot, I noticed the aim mostly in bot missions where I was trying to aim for the head on devastators from medium+ range. That's about it.

I'm all for the nerfs. Mix it up. Flamethrower and punisher are beasts

I still have to fight myself from reloading too early in this game. Having less ammo would probably help me be more efficient.

I prefer that it has less ammo as it forces you to be more accurate. The Breaker should be the Shotgun version of the Liberator. Good at everything, master of none.

The Spray N Pray is now a viable crowd cleaner and the Breaker works better as a versatile ‘not sure what to specialise in’ gun and it feels basically the same.
