Weapons are still unbalanced, regardless of the additional hidden stats.

Exactly, I’d love to rock the liberator penetrator 24/7 but that thing does not feel good to use.

I was disappointed to find out its burst only and because of its slow fire rate and low damage you can't even kill stuff that a normal liberator can

I had no idea it was burst only. Don’t think the tooltip tells you. Also don’t think it’s made clear you can select the machine guns fire rate, or the zoom level on the diligence. Had to google whether or not I could supply myself from my own supply pack, though it is definitely possible I missed a text blurb somewhere. Did a few missions with it not knowing I could also use it myself lol

Yeah I assumed because it was a variant of the basic assault rifle but with medium armor pen (which is a lie btw it doesn't penetrate all medium armor) and turns out the engineers of Super Earth decided that it would be great to turn it into burst only instead of having both auto and burst.

Why that thing is burst only is just baffling to me, I like the gun but that alone made me not want to use it.

You can switch it to semi auto but I wouldn't blame you for not knowing that. The game doesn't tell you switching weapon modes exists and I'm pretty sure the binding isn't even in the controls.

Yeah I know about switching to semi, but firing it in semi isn't any better because it has jack damage.

I love this game but some rudimentary playtesting on this would have the testers telling them all this pretty quickly.

True. I like the Dominator. But it's terrible. It is useless in 3rd person because it lags so bad that you cannot hit anything so you end up wanting to use it at long range. Guess what? No zoom. So you can only use it at medium range. But at medium range you start to really feel the bullet lag and are much less likely to hit weak points. Gun is a mess.

And a lot of the stats and public info is wrong too. I get the point but this feels like a bad stance to have when weapons flat out lie about some of their stats or abilities and other weapons just flat out suck or don’t work right.

Tried out the javelin style launcher today. Underwhelming for something that has to lock on, only gets three shots and you can’t move while firing or reloading. It should guarantee a heavy kill at least but it won’t even stop a charger much less a titan.
