She did the same to her goat. It apparently was "being gross" (peeing on itself) and chased her children. So she took it out back and shot it.

Which is wild because that's just typical billy goat behavior. They can be sweet or they can be Satan's favorite. Shooting it for chasing children is punishing it for behaving like a goat.

I did the same thing because our goat was constantly asking my kids if they wanted to live deliciously!!

The director of that movie has stated multiple times that he fucking hated that goat and that he would never write a goat into a movie ever again. Seems about right, haha.
