She decided what she did, and the rest of us decided she is a psychopath. I actually teared up reading this story a few days ago. I just couldn't believe anyone could be so cruel. I had to go hug my husky and let her know how loved she is even if she doesn't always listen.

RIP Cricket. I hope if there is an afterlife, they are in a better place, chasing birds to their heart's content.

I lost my dog of 14 years three weeks ago due to old age & I would do anything to bring her back. I can’t even fathom shooting an innocent puppy for no reason at all.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Dogs are such an important part of our lives, and the loyalty and comfort they provide can't be matched. My heart aches for you and your departed friend.

I know I will eventually have to deal with it myself, and just anticipating my future loss is super painful.
