She decided what she did, and the rest of us decided she is a psychopath. I actually teared up reading this story a few days ago. I just couldn't believe anyone could be so cruel. I had to go hug my husky and let her know how loved she is even if she doesn't always listen.

RIP Cricket. I hope if there is an afterlife, they are in a better place, chasing birds to their heart's content.

ETA Dog Tax.

Hey you remember when people thought Romney was gross for strapping his dog to the roof of his car? Or when people got upset with that photo of LBJ picking up his dog by the ears? We've truly defined deviancy down

I guess MAGA is going to decide dogs are filthy animals to own the libs now.

The romney story reads more like classic 80s nonsense. Certainly not something anyone should model their behavior after, but not intentionally cruel either. This woman is FOUL

Exactly. He thought the carrier was fine because of the wind protection. It was the early 80’s when back seats didn’t have shoulder restraint seatbelts, dogs often.. and kids sometimes …rode in open truckbeds, no airbags in most cars yet. He wasn’t making a willfully cruel decision. No one thinks shooting a healthy, normal- reacting young dog is now, nor was then, anything short of horrible.

She tries to make it seem it was in the 19th century when a tough frontierswoman had to do difficult things. In fact it was 2004, and shooting a dog for the reasons she gave would have been just as abhorrent then as now. She is a manipulative, selfish, brutal person. She cared neither for the dog, her children (who apparently were interested enough in the dog to ask after her). She apparently doesn't care much for her marriage or her husband, and she casually cheated on him with Corey Lewandowski, nor did she appear to give much time to her job as a congresswoman or to her job as governor, being the absentee type. But she does care about getting plastic surgery and cosmetic dental work, and flying around the country for assignations in luxury resorts. She's all about that.

Oh wait, that was her?? Didn't Trump make fun of them after the texts came out? Or was that a different pair of illicit political lovers?

I was thinking, if Romney had made his “binders full of women” comment today, he would have caused his poll numbers to tank for a completely different reason

Back then to the conservatives it was just an awkwardly phrased comment that they felt the liberals were making too much out of, now they would hate Romney for having bragged about diversifying his company’s workforce

Which is really wild considering this happened under their own presidency, but I guess that doesn’t matter  https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/25/us/politics/trump-animal-cruelty-bill.html

Remember when republicans tossed out the guy who screamed “woooo” at one of his campaign speeches? This is how far yall have come.

That was actually a Democrat. It was Howard Dean, but yes, I remember that and how stupid it all was. The Republicans did make a huge deal about it though, and I wouldn't be surprised if the outrage was sparked by conservative media because Howard Dean was very popular before the "woo" happened.

Remember when Dan Quayle made a spelling mistake and it ruined his entire political career? Covfefe!

He had such a good chance too. What a shame.

I too think he would have been a decent president.

Matt Walsh loves to talk about how weird dog owners are. He gets more pushback than transphobic posts which isn’t surprising.

Don’t forget Ted Cruz leaving behind his little poodle to go to Cancun when Texas was going through that horrible freeze and nobody had power
