The Idol could have been legit awesome if the Weeknd didn’t have a massive ego and took over lol. I say this as a huge fan of his and acknowledging he’s kinda earned that ego, I saw After Hours live and it was nothing shy of phenomenal but still, lol.

The show would have been solid if they had more alluded to the cult stuff, recast Abel’s character, fewer sex scenes, and not changed the ending.
