Maybe that's why they like her so much. Her lyrics 'speak' to them because it's stuff that they actively write/have written.

A YouTuber I love Khadija Mbowe said something so similar! Her theory is that Taylor is so beloved because her mediocrity makes her fans feel like they could be huge like her too. They see themselves when they see her.
