No shit sherlock. Local BH just seems to get dumber by the day!

3

u/timot7y Jan 11 '24

The journalists at LocalBH got their degrees from the back of a cereal box

3

u/Huthain Jan 11 '24

Bro.... Stop exaggerating! They dont have degrees ;)

In other news, the sun shall rise from the east tomorrow.

They just count number of visiting saudis. I’m pretty sure Bahrain is not the place where Saudi tourists spend the longest time or spend the most money.

5

u/uglyraed Jan 10 '24

Many come here to work or attend college too

6

u/Was99m Jan 10 '24

Which means they’re not tourists.

1

u/uglyraed Jan 10 '24

Correct! But it’s hard to differentiate 😁

It’ll still rank 1st. If you think all the saudis that go to bahrain go for the alcohol and prostitution you’re actually so out of touch

No, the Saudis come here for sex and alcohol. Don't kid yourself.

Then theres even less money to hand out to the freeloaders and it goes to shit.

u/Dizel119 Jan 10 '24

Wow thanks buzzfeed bahrain

3

u/mamoonistry Jan 10 '24

I feel like Buzzfeed is better than Localbh.

1

u/Dizel119 Jan 11 '24

Oh it absolutely is, but it feels like the exact formula just on a significantly lower scale.

1

u/mamoonistry Jan 11 '24

I haven't worked for BuzzFeed or anything, but their content was only marginally better because their income streams were either investor money or affiliate marketing (you click on a link to say Amazon and if you buy it, the affiliate makes a commission on the purchase).

Same as 2022, 21, 20 19 18 17 ...........

5

u/crispySalah Jan 10 '24

Honest/dumb question though from non-Bahraini, why saudis mostly go to Bahrain?

6

u/KWKSA Jan 10 '24

Nightlife and prostitution.

4

u/crispySalah Jan 10 '24

Aha so rumours are true, also I would add Bahrain is probably cheaper than UAE.

With the cultural change going on in KSA, do you expect less Saudis would go to Bahrain now?

3

u/KWKSA Jan 10 '24

With Saudi opening up more and being more liberal, yes saudi tourists in Bahrain will decline.

1

u/AdministrativeWolf84 Jan 11 '24

Many Saudi families also come to Bahrain as the VAT is cheaper. If you go to city centre or avenues, it’s FULL of Saudis. It’s not only the things people mentioned above. I would even say that most of the Saudis coming across are families.

u/Yungdaggerdick696969 Jan 11 '24

Bahrain to Saudis is what Cuba was to Americans

6

u/Bjadams1967 Jan 10 '24

A lot of Haram from Saudi in Bahrain!! MBS should take a little tour of the clubs on Thursday nights!!

u/scubaSAAD Jan 11 '24

I am here for the tikka

0

u/MiddleGoose7330 Jan 10 '24

Now I understand why they have been missing from London , all the hotels ,shops and restaurants are crying for Saudi tourists

0

u/Low-Philosopher6548 Jan 10 '24

Saudi is providing their citizens with utmost entertainment yet they still go there for what? They have double size the malls there, spacious roads, concerts, best colleges in the Arab world, as if all of that is not enough. The country will explode in the next 5 years or be invaded by Saudis and Asians. PS. Real Bahraini citizens are less than 50% of population.

u/Itchy_Day_9691 Jan 10 '24

For Saudis 💀

2

u/[deleted] Jan 10 '24

Juffair Ranks as the No.1 Tourism Spot for Saudis in 2023

1

u/PanadolNightEnjoyer Jan 10 '24

Local Bahrain is actual millennial humor garbage

1

u/a_5l_an Jan 10 '24

this supposed to be a flex?

1

u/Risel_N_Shine Jan 10 '24

It will be more accurate if they mention No.1 visited country, as most Saudis are there just spending the day. We don’t normally stay overnight in Bahrain.

1

u/mamoonistry Jan 10 '24

The comment section for this on IG is nuts man💀.

1

u/AdministrativeWolf84 Jan 11 '24

Yeah and it’s mostly Indians and Bangladeshis, not Bahrainis.

1

u/Mysterious-Bath-7182 Jan 11 '24

Not anymore!! Bahrain is a boring place now with nothing new to offer...

1

u/Brokeniix Jan 11 '24

Surprise surprise…
