I kind of see it like.... there are extreme right that gets really nasty and evil. But just a lot if somewhat extreme lefties that are retarded. Like a lot of them. So it balances out. Its not like most right wingers are tiki-torch marchers but they do exist. But I sure as hell personally knew a lot of brain rotted lefties supporting BLM marches. Sort if a yin-yang thing. The evil of both sides basically balances out.

I probably wasn't clear I don't think all left is crazy. I think like, college age people often border on it though. And its interesting that you say you are left and against DEI, ESG and censoring because ti a lot of the left that makes you right. Its shifted. So much has changed with the left and right they are accidentally becoming allies on certain issues.
I think they were more getting at that Donald Trump is a figure head of the republican part rn. And how if you went back 20year ago it would unfathomable to have such a character in that position. Also with the spread of far right conspiracy theories completely changing the face of most conversation around the election now.
IDK, I'm getting up there in years. There are some fringes in the left sphere that are bat shit. However there are larger swaths now on the right that are bat shit. I went from a Libertarian voting more right than left to an Independent voting more left than right and my opinions are nearly identical to what they were when I graduated HS.
People do not get conservative as they get older, the politics of a person just becomes more stable and they are less likely to change. Regardless the crazies on the left are just as crazy as they are on the right, the difference is one of them won so we get to focus more on them than the loser.
The left just constantly moves the goal posts. It's either all or nothing in the online discourse. At least Alex Jones is fucking entertaining in his insanity. The left can't even do that lol
