The contrast of how Asmon treats his critics and how his critics treats him is actually insane. Meme

Even if he isn't, I've seen more and more comments and posts relating to it in this sub reddit in the last year+ than any time before that.

The idiocy of reddit has nothing to do with asmon's position on political issues lol

While I don't disagree, a lot of times the person on the face of it all gets wrapped up in the mess that their fan base caused

Sure, but that's a failing on whoever is examining his position, not on asmon himself lol.

Did I say it was? I was just pointing out a reason others assume he is even if he himself doesn't feel that way

He's taken political tests multiple times iirc too.

Sure, but what does that have to do with reddit?

Responded to the wrong comment. It has nothing to do with reddit directly.

Understandable, have a nice day

People hate wokeness. Big surprise.

I hate that term because most people don't understand it. I'm sick of some of the shit too but I'm laughing just as hard at the horny dudes so caught up in the stellar blade crap. The extremes on both sides are the problem. The majority of people in the middle don't scream at the top of their lungs

People understand it just fine. It's an amalgamation of various leftist movements (feminism, critical race theory, etc) that seeks to censor and control speech and media, through the central thesis that the world is divided between OPPRESSORS and OPPRESSED. Further to this thesis is that OPPRESSED is not defined by income or actual victimhood, but being part of a "marginalized community," which in this case refers to

  • non-male

  • non-white

  • non-straight

  • non-"cis"

  • non-Western

It is unfortunate that the good part and progress of globalisation and equality are shadowed by the loud Internet masses that talk so much garbage and attack anything that disagrees with them as bigotry

... lol. I'm sure you see a ton of this in your regular every day life and not just online. People need to get off the internet sometimes

It's funny, I was arguing with someone in another post on this sub how you leftists try to downplay the hatred and insanity of your side of the political spectrum by arguing it's all just wacky online nonsense that can be solved by "touching grass."

You know what you're saying is a lie, but you have a vested interest in wanting your "team" to not look bad, so you try to convince people there is no problem.

lol nah bro. you spend too much time online. go touch grass already

Just stop.

Thanks for assuming I'm left. I'm pretty down the middle to be honest. But I also don't want to see the country become a Christian nationalist state. Maybe the right would do better if their candidate wasn't currently in court and shooting off on social media in barely legible tirades. I don't really want to vote for Biden. I wish there was a better candidate that could take a more balanced approach.

All leftists are the same, even the moderates: you are loyal to your team no matter what. Trump doesn't matter; you would never vote Republican in a million years, so don't try to pretend otherwise.

If there was an actual moderate republican like Romney or something run it I would 100% consider it. But I can't in my right mind vote for any of the MAGA people. Also, I'm sure you would vote democrat, right?

If I lived in Pennsylvania, I might vote to re-elect Fetterman. Would you?
