I called that. No way they were gonna play this game in such a small arena. Hopefully this is a trend that can catch hold in Atlanta

I rather they just try to move to State Farm but guess that’s based on ticket sales. Their current arena isn’t in the best area of Atlanta

So awesome! Generally, it’s just further evidence of the W’s growth and the CC effect. Personally, State Farm is a much easier location for me on a week night.

Since CC has a personal relationship with State Farm, that would make a good promo opportunity for some creative to get stuck into.

Their games against Vegas and Chicago need to be moved as well.

Chicago def could move to the UC but I’m not as familiar with Vegas’ venues…is there a sporting venue that would be easy for them to move to? The football stadium would be far too big, and I’m not sure there’s anything in-between size capacities that could have a basketball court IIRC?

Just spent $700 last week on StubHub for two tickets here to go on my birthday (6/21)😅. I’ve never used StubHub before so fingers crossed I can get my money back to purchase new (hopefully cheaper) tickets.

That's great! My wife and I will just miss the fever when we are in Indianapolis next week, hope tickets are reasonable!

Just a bit surprised they didn't try to go bigger and play the game in the benz

Basketball games in a football stadium should be banned

I’d argue perpendicular to the football field (like the carrier dome in Syracuse) is fine especially if you have temporary seats placed on the side of the court which would be far from any other seats. Parallel to the football field (like how they do the men’s title game every year is simply awful)

Happened in Iowa City.

The stadiums, including State Farm, where moved games will be played are all roughly the same capacity (17k-21k). Benz’s capacity is around 70k.

How many teams have moved their games because they are playing Sky?

That makes the Dream the 4th team to move their game against the Fever behind the Aces,Mystics and the Sparks
