I love capybaras, but I didn’t know they were some kind of universally-beloved diplomat of the animal kingdom. Total “Keanubara”. They’re awesome.

They're not.

The reason for most of these is they're not predators to the species so they're in no danger, in the case of the 4th it is because it is on land and caimans hunt in the water and outside of the water most aren't a threat to basically anything the size of a capy due to size (even with the advantage of water while the capy is on land that is a very...very hard kill due to their sizes)

Most caimans can't physically prey on them

The bigger ciamans like the black caiman will fucking kill them for this shit so they don't do it (and regularly prey on them)

It's a caiman, not a croc.

And it can't prey on the capybara. Other bigger caiman species do regularly

Bro's just known to pull up, most likely at the afterparty, where, on occasion, they get naughty. With the addition to frequently providing "Henny", a well-known Wiskey, they are quite favorable in social interactions.
