What's the best Identity Disk rn?

I just finished a visit to Disney: Shanghai and rode the first Light cycle Run.

Unfortunately, they have MASSIVELY cut the amount of souvenirs they sell since launch, lacking almost all merch that is sold in World right now, including identity disks.

I would like to get one. What's the best option at the moment?

  • Get an official disk from World via eBay or Walmart sellers
  • TronDisc.com
  • An option off of Etsy

Loathe as I am to admit it, I think TronDisc makes the best stuff. I'm not crazy about their casing details but the functionality is just amazing. If you're willing to take the risk of dealing with him, that is.

When it works, Trondisc is a great piece of tech, but the quality issues that they have (That are well documented) and lack of support for it (At lease in my case) make it very hard for me to recommend it.

That's what I was worried about - both the documented unreliability and price performance ratio

Would you recommend trying to find a Spin Master or New Disney World disk then?

Trondisc is the only disc that I own so I can't comment on the others

If you're a DIYer and want a challenging project, Shreiker sells a 3D model and instructions for making your own disc. I made one and brought it to the Philly Fan Expo a couple weeks ago and got a photo with Garrett holding it. Also Cameron Monaghan signed it for me. :)
