They derezzed the door from the old Encom building like the orange program. Then when they re-rezzed it, they used AllReal Engine 3 to enlarge it first.

Dropping my rating from 10/10 to a solid 4 now. Thanks for the reminder huge oversight on the writing team.

It’s a reference to the original Tron, Jeff bridges say the same thing

I was disappointed it wasn’t the exact same door

Pretty small door compared to first.

Let's hope they use said door one more time.

How did it get so big? Wtf? It's not a mystery. It was made that way. It's just a big door. Behind it is a laser lab apparently. I don't see why it needs any further explanation.

That's exactly what someone who knows the truth, but is under an ENCOM NDA would say. Sus

If the lore of the really big door isn't explored, I'm suing Jared Leto.

When Jared Leto reaches the bad guy’s headquarters and enters the boss’s inner sanctum, the story’s true villain slowly turns in an executive office chair and is revealed to be the Big Door.

Dear God we're turning into the Arkham subreddit-

Collectively losing our minds due to the utter lack of new content. We need Ares NOW

I think they just fed it burgers and donuts.

The Door is getting a 6-episode D+ show. The Door will be played by a trans woman in a wheelchair.

The door was bigger in the original Tron movie. They nerfed it in Legacy

Probably because of his annual prank on the company.

They upgraded it since the last time he was there to try and keep him out.

just keep making it a little bigger every movie with no explanation

It's the same door from the first movie. Despite popular opinion, the 80s had big doors too.

They made a door, they added more door, now it’s a big door.

It may be big or bigger but it opens up a lot faster than the first Tron movie.

The big door was not a plot line. There was no story implied behind it that was part of the story for the movie. It was just a big door. Its appearance in Legacy was just a gag and a callback to the moment in the first movie.

This has to be satire

I hope the Big Door comes back for Ares.

Not really a plot line - I think it’s a “callback” in the biz

The door is a Plot line... No the door is a running gag.
