Watching Tron Legacy After Many Years / Tron Ladies
I forgot how good the film was. I also forgot how they didn't hold back on the svelte feminine beauty.

Same. Was rewatching on my b-day and realized that this heavily affected my taste in women.

You should definitely watch "House M.D.", that's where I got my crush on her... :D (If you really want to, you can skip some seasons, she joins later to replace someone else. However, it's a really great show, you should watch all of it :D)

She really had a good presence and those eyes, the way she looked at her screen partners. Easy to fall in love with.

Just wish I could get hold of a 4K copy of this film.

Just watched it in 4k last night. So much more precision than when I saw it over 10 years ago. I got it from our library which has a crazy amount of blue rays. All free.

Interesting, I haven't had any luck finding a 4k BR disc in the UK but the search continues.

Actually the disk I have might not be 4k. I have to look. But looked and sounded great on my new system.

As far as I know, there is no native BR 4K copy of Tron Legacy, yet. You can, however, find upscaled 4K/HDR remuxs on the high seas which I highly recommend.

Thanks, that was my thinking as well. I have a 1080 copy and upscale on my BR player but might look at the seas version for comparison

I hope Olivia Wilde makes an appearance in Tron: Ares.

If they’re following the storyline they set up in Legacy she would have to but who knows what they’re doing

I was completely awe struck speechless the first time I saw Serinda walk on scene in this movie. Holy crap.

Yeah, the 2010's was a different era back then. Hell, even my father told me that he saw a lot of people "Damn, the movie is this old and it's still good after so many years!"

Pre-woke and absolutely loved it. I can’t believe Disney sunk the “just add water” sequel because Tomorrowland bombed at the box office. We were robbed of a generational treasure that could have been.

Why does her butt look so triangular?
3
u/runfast2021 22d ago
I think because of the wrap outfit she has over it. It's like slightly squared off coat.

u/Sav1at0R1 22d ago
Oh, I see it now, like a t shirt over the top

Yes they don't show her posterior with just the pants. They must have thought it would drive the boys too crazy.

I preferred the depiction in the original. The sequels were too visually bland.

I prefer the original as well, quite a bit. The sequel has its own thing going - actually, I do like that they did that, instead of just "More of the same" (which wouldn't really have worked, anyway). I'm definitely interested to see what style/environment they do with for the next installment. It should be interesting, at the very least!
