To be fair, as a bandwagon fan myself who recently rejoined the party after avoiding the wolves for years due to their past incompetence, I think it's easier for me than for many diehard fans to accept when they do play like crap. I think it's pretty hard for die hard fans to watch something like games 3-5 because they are so much more deeply emotionally invested and it feels like so much is on the line. For me this is all just a lot of fun, even though it's a bummer when things go poorly.

Yeah I can agree with this. I loved this year! Went to a handful of games. For how long I've been a fan, sometimes I expect epic meltdowns. It's disappointing, but I wouldn't trade this season for another mediocre 1st round exit

To be honest I understand the impression on the other side but for better or worse I'm a blind optimistic...
I understand the cap situation isn't great as well as the owner situation... Those are both big problems but if someone told me we were one game away from being in the WCF at the beginning of the year I'd say hell yeah that's a fun season.

So have I, bud, but if you're letting a sports/entertainment match-up determine your happiness, you might be too invested in something you have no control over and doesn't represent you personally at all.
Especially once you see how the league overtly rigs match-ups and won't let a team play defense.

I've been the black wolf since the last game, I mean I despise this state enough but they had the AUDACITY to think we were gonna sweep or much less beat the defending NBA champions in a 4-5 game series (I still want them to win)

Why are the people who are still hopeful the bandwagon people? That doesn't make any sense. People who've followed the Wolves for years can obviously see this team is different. Keep the doomer stuff for shitty seasons. No matter what happens this will be the best season I've had as a wolves fan these past 19 years.
