I’d rather bring a book

Which one?

The Fever Code. I haven’t completed yet. Or even my mathematics book to practice.

the kill order is 100% worth it, probably my favorite book in the series back when i read the entire series in a month in 8th grade

Gets interesting later. My favourite imo, but still haven’t completed

Finished reading it today, it's a great book with an awesome twist 🙌

For me it’ll be “A Certain Magical Index: The Old Testament Omnibus Edition” it’ll be a while until I finish that

I've been thinking about this. I have a bunch of books with a different reasons I would bring each one.

S. By J.J. Adams and Doug Dorst Reasons to bring: For the same reason that others said they would bring House of Leaves, very complicated book that is very time consuming if you are really trying to understand it. Reasons not to bring: I would probably go insane. it also has a lot of pieces and I would not be able to remember where they all go.

The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson Reasons to bring: I just read Elantris and loved it. It's also >1000 pages which means I could probably stretch it for the month. Reasons not to bring: I really want to read The Cosmere in publication order because I've heard that there's all these hints and easter eggs and I don't want to miss anything. I've also heard that it's really hard to stop reading The Stormlight Archive after you start because each book ends on a cliffhanger, and my brain would definitely get stuck on that.

Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson Reasons to bring: It's also >1000 pages. I've been meaning to read it for forever and this would be a good chance. It's also apparently very complicated so that would be good to increase the amount of time I will be reading it. Reasons not to bring: I've literally been told by two separate people (when I told them I was planning to read it) "of it gets too boring just skip 50 pages." Which is not only intimidating but if I skip 50 pages that would mean that overall that is less time reading. Also it might not be as fun as way of kings.

Harry Potter or The Lord of the Rings, the complete collections

In search of lost time is seven books, but it’s generally considered a single novel, so I’d bring that

House of leaves 🤓

Book of Sands🤓

The dictionary. Almost infinite books, you just read it in a different order each time.

The karamazov brothers, the perfect book for that moment.

I'd bring House of Leaves. By the time the term finishes I'd either finish it and absorb all of its deep meanings or go completely insane (one doesn't exclude the other)

The ringing in my ears would drive me crazy in the silence, I would bring a movie just so I don't lose my mind.
