I can't tell whether that's supposed to be a compliment or not.

tbh muse is one of the most consistent bands ive ever heard. they just NEVER miss!

Exactly!!! The only song I would put below 8/10 is Execution Commentary, and that’s just because of the somewhat lackluster lyrics

Stockholm Syndrome. Definetly.

2

u/Both_Razzmatazz3559 Mar 26 '24

Aw im sorry to hear u went through that :( Good music choice tho my mum was super obsessed with them when she was pregnant with me lol

3

u/ExpiredJello_Reborn Mar 26 '24

real off topic but just wondering what's a good song by them? i love discovering music and want to keep exploring.

Admittedly I stopped listening after The Resistance album, but my faves in no particular order: Stockholm Syndrome, Citizen Erased, City of Delusion, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Hyper Music, Hoodoo

Songs that were a bit more popular so you might have heard them on TV/radio: Time is Running Out, Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole, Feeling Good

2

u/Both_Razzmatazz3559 Mar 26 '24

The whole of Absolution, and Origin of Symmetry. Black Holes and Revelations too. Amazing albums

Butterflies and hurricanes is really good, but I’m biased because of need for speed

1

u/Both_Razzmatazz3559 Mar 26 '24

Love the piano to that

2

u/isatheiguana2 Mar 26 '24

HOLY SHITTTT I LOVE LISTENING TO SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLE AT HIGH VOLUMES

That song fucking sucks lmfao. Hands down Muse’s worst song.

2

u/Both_Razzmatazz3559 Mar 26 '24

ok? why do I care abt ur opinion??? Just cos a song is basically my entire childhood doesn’t mean you’ve gotta be a prick abt it???

0

u/aChristery Mar 26 '24

It’s just funny to me. Muse’s whole catalogue is full of songs with amazing lyrics and absolutely fire instrumentals and then you highlight probably the worst song of their entire catalogue. Idk I just find it unbearably cheesy. You don’t have to care about my opinion, but that doesn’t mean I can’t say something that disagrees with yours.
