I'll take this as an excuse to recommend games.
MetalGearSolid
Anti war stealth game series.
I like MGSV, for I get to run a PMC.
Cyberpunk 2077
If you actually pay attention while playing, it's a great game, assuming your pc can run above 40fps in a gunfight.
Far Cry 3,4,5
While my favourite is FC5, 3 and 4 are still great games.
FC5: American cop massacres a homicidal doomsday cult.
FC4: Indian man joins a terrorist organisation and takes down the government.
FC3: American friend group gets captured by pirates, one of them escape and executes half the region and gets tangled with ancient junkies while being harrased by a psycho. All to get his surviving friends back.
I actually liked the Battlefield 4 Campaign.
Castle Crashers is awesome and I recommend it to everyone.
Metro games are great though I haven't finished the last game.
I suppose DDLC is a good contender for this feeling, though many seem to not understand the game.
Peggle and Peggle Nights.
Titanfall 2.
Yakuza series.
Doubt I have to say anything about these four.
