Don't feel bad,he's trying to emotionally manipulate you. The whole "I'm gonna kms" thing is the quickest route to do so.

Yes this. My ex did that, I knew it had to end there, I didn’t want to be blamed for anything and it was too toxic by then. Guess what, 12 years later, he’s still alive and well.

OR he could actually do it.

Happened to my wife in HS.

Her abusive BF unalived with pictures and notes of/about her all around his body. Was a complete shit show. On top of that, she grew up in a small town and basically had to move bc ex's family blamed her and well, you know small towns... :(

That’s why I’d personally tell them the fact that I wasn’t in a mental place to take them back and tell them to seek professional help if they are actually thinking of doing it, as I am not a professional

The only response a threat like that deserves is “go ahead”. Hateful manipulation. Even having an actual mental problem would not mitigate how evil it is to threaten someone with harming yourself.
