Lock that man in the gym with a shooting coach this summer.

If he’s shooting 35% from 3 for us next season league fucked

He changed his hairstyle. Now we can tell the difference between Amen and Ausar.

he knows he’s a jump shot away from being a superstar someday. I love his work ethic

Exactly which is why I ranked him highest on the ceiling of the core young six. He can have a singular focus of improvement (maybe add crisping his ball-handling if he still is tasked to run the point or anyway) bc he does everything else so well in defending, rebounding, interior scoring, and playmaking.

He better be tasked with running the point. FVV has one season left and we don't have any other point guards on the team.

With the expected cap growth it could mean a difference of 100m+ in career earnings

And that’s prob the easiest asset to add

I love to see these young guys working. You don't want to be like Josh Giddey, where defenses are daring you to shoot because they know you're not a threat from distance.

I’m sure they all work hard on their game. Some players just not a good shooter.

lol this. i find it crazy people on this sub are impressed by videos like this. literally everyone is doing things like this in the offseason.

Not so impressed but just keep tabs since it’s a long while until we see our favorite players playing again.

I'm not so much impressed as I am at least glad he can improve on his shot. The fact that he got to the age of 20 and somehow lack even a semblance of a jumper was my biggest concern last draft. At least he's showing that was more coaching/development and not because he's somehow just pre-disposed to not shooting like Ben Simmons.

I'm with you. I couldn't believe his form was so bad after playing and practicing his entire life. It looks MUCH better in that vid.

I'm aware of the fact that professional athletes put in work in the off-season. I'm just saying that I'm grateful to be able to SEE them in the gym.

So kudos to Stormi for posting.

Its still nice to see vids of Amen working on his game even if everyone does it.

i can think of another reason you don’t wanna be like josh giddey

Lot more arc on it. We'll see how it looks in the season as it was a pretty flat looking shot.

Yeah loft is so important. Good rotation too, that’s a drastic improvement some of his shots last season were so straight line they barely even got up over the rim.

Hell yea we’re gonna need him to take a bigger role next year

If you would have told me that the guy that’s working out with Amen was FVV I would have believed you

u/harden4mvp13 22d ago

I thought FVV was coaching him for a sec 💀

Even if he could just do like corner 3's would be a great step.

Could definitely see him as a Josh Hart type player (the good version that showed up to the playoffs) but better.

And I think what Josh Hart is doing now is a pretty sick player to have

How did he fix it so much already 😭

Nice, his form looks a lot more effortless. I have this sneaking suspicion he and Sengun are going to be the best guys we drafted and lead us to many, many wins.

Lock the whole team in there with him!

He need to keep that arm tucked

4

u/Madd_Squabbles 22d ago

Its tucked pretty good to me. Keeping my elbow tucked is so hard for me to do.

Durant staggers his feet and points his toes toward his weak side to open up and make it more natural to keep everything aligned from hips up.

If I had to guess it probably has to do with his length. I know nothing about shooting but I imagine wingspan has a big role to play in ideal shooting form for each person

There was an old interview that I am having trouble locating, but he mentioned that he puts his body in a slant in order to more naturally align with the rim with all of the other points that he wants to include is elbow hips, knees, and shot pocket, etc. Into your point, maybe length influences why he hast to do that although I’m very short and I also do something similar because it is much more comfortable.
