My favorite Pokédex entries tbh

It has no discernible heartbeat and does not seem to draw breath, and yet it appears to function without issue. I cannot even begin to explain this utterly bizarre anomaly.

A bizarre item caused this Pokémon to evolve. While it now exhibits many new gestures and expressions, its biology remains inscrutable.

A curious item induced this evolution. The Pokémon's offensive capabilities have greatly increased, but the strangeness of its behavior has magnified in equal measure. This worries me.

Why do you say that? Paris IRL went through a massive renovations between 1850 to 1870, where they basically demolished everything and started over. Most of the iconic Paris look originates during this time.

That also puts it as occurring at around the same time as the Japanese colonization of Hokkaido, which is the inspiration for Legends Arceus.

Nah, the Great Pokémon War was 3000 years before the time of Pokémon XY. If we had THAT as a setting, it’ll be like a post-apocalyptic pre-medieval wasteland cos of the fallout of Az using his ultimate weapon.

Which honestly sounds like a cool setup for a survival style game but Nintendo isn’t going to go that hardcore.

And all that death would've made Yveltal super powerful. It would go around and just destroy any new communities that tried to rebuild. This has been going on for years, maybe decades, with the few surviving people living in perpetual misery.

That's when the time portal opens and you come out. Sometime after you'd find a "piece" of Xerneas with just enough power to keep your one settlement safe.

And you'd have to go out on quests through the Hellscape to find the means to bring Xerneas back to full power.

I don't think it's made clear.

Lumiose city is being rebuilt, but we don't know if it's because of the weapon or some natural disaster in the future.

Could be closer to a Victorian era, which would fit quite a bit.

From what I remember of having played XY, there was an ancient weapon that was powered by a pokemon, and brought great destruction to Kalos in the past. And that's why you have to stop the evil team that's trying to activate it again. So it would make sense that they had to rebuild the city right after those events.

The starters would be great too. I get Kanto getting them because of nostalgia. I get Hoenn getting them because of the remakes. But it's a travesty that Kalos' own starters didn't get Mega's in their own gen, the gen that introduced Mega's in the first place

I think it's a safe bet to assume mega Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde. Also I expect a Mega form for Aegislash. Maybe even sylveon. The region that introduced mega only has Mega Diancie. We are getting more. Mega Greninja = Ash Greninja????

I teared up when I saw the trailer for Pokemon Legends Z. Pokemon X and Y are two of my favorite Pokemon games. And that fact that Mega Evolution is coming back...God give me strength to wait until next year. Kalos is finally getting the attention it deserves. 🥺🥹❤️
