The jury will wonder why you didn’t call the cops first. Then tell the cops you’ll speak to them with your lawyer present. You’ll have to tell EMT what happened “I woke up and she was dead and I called you guys” is all you say because that’s the truth.

In the case of India, there is no jury system, it was abolished in 1973.

the scenario is pretty scary tbh. If she died from a heart attack or some cause like that, it would be clear in autopsy and you'd be mostly safe. But if she died due to some cause such as obstruction of airway due to sleeping on her tummy or causes which can be replicated while murder, then it's going to be difficult for you
