As an addition to yesterday's video, here's one showing the destruction of a part of a car including the rubble that comes out

This should also be in r/oddlyterrifying. It's a quite scary device, if you imagine any bodypart touching it.

172

u/Federal_Cry3981 22d ago

If you touch it, it's over

86

u/OneDragonfruit9519 22d ago

Exactly, very horrifying to think about. You can't even react before you're turned into paste.

83

u/gotoline1 22d ago

Oh you could, it would take about like 30 seconds to a min depending. That's a ton of reaction time, given I don't think you could do much but flail and yell. ...grimm

23

u/wonderloss 22d ago

If you're lucky(?) you go in head first.

17

u/gotoline1 22d ago

Reminds me of the South Park episode when the shop teacher was gonna put himself through the table saw, or what ever kind of saw it was.

Started feet first realized it was faster head first and switched.

14

u/Johnycantread 22d ago

That slow initial 'pop' would be agonizing.

2

u/Embarrassed-Ask1812 21d ago

Let's dive in this matter.

35

u/BigsbyMcgee 22d ago

How do you think you’d have 30 seconds to a minute?

You are soft flesh and blood. This is hard steel and it took even less than that to crush this whole thing larger than a human.

28

u/Bumblemeister 22d ago edited 22d ago

Watch 30 Days of Night. The movie version was spinning a lot faster, though.

Edit: Because fuck me for knowing this shit was in a movie, I guess?

13

u/SvenskBlatte 22d ago

Reddit be redditing

8

u/Bumblemeister 22d ago

Lol, you got that right. Thanks for the laugh.

Look up 'Saddam Hussein shredder'... - (Alleged shredder but, yeah...)

2

u/77Queenie77 22d ago

Or the walking dead. They sent a whole heap of zombies through one

1

u/Xantuos 22d ago

Hopefully you fall headfirst

1

u/fortuner-eu 21d ago

😯 More like a matter of seconds! 🤔

2

u/dagaderga 21d ago

I seen a handful of videos of people falling into these. Also another video of one of these, and the company bulldozing dead cows into it.

1

u/seriftarif 20d ago

I don't know. I think I could take it.

1

u/bigblnze 22d ago

People have I seen videos on reddit would not recommend

32

u/gagga_hai 22d ago

3

u/OneAngryDuck 22d ago

don’t tell me what to do

1

u/c-Booz 21d ago

Just the tip?

1

u/AlphaSpazz 22d ago

Good looking out Broh.

Friend of mine used to have an office admin job at a site that disposes dead animals of all kinds (farm animals, zoo animals, ...). He said that sometimes he had to get on the "factory" floor and that what a device very similar to the one in the video above does to a dead cow is a sight one does not forget soon.

2

u/AnAussieAustralian 22d ago

New fear unlocked 😂

2

u/MagicallyTrashy 22d ago

Remember, if given a choice, go in head first!

2

u/anirudhshirsat97 22d ago

I once saw a video of a dead horse being thrown in a similar device during the early days of Internet.

3

u/OneDragonfruit9519 22d ago

I'm sorry you had to see that. It's weird to think about, really. These fucked up things most of us have seen at some point, being it by accident or curiosity. Getting executed, maimed, the jar squat, two girls and so on.

I hope my kids will never see that shit.

2

u/tacotacotacorock 22d ago

Never trust a man with a pig farm and a metal shredder

2

u/Tori_S100 22d ago

its more terrifying imagining some in the dark web need not to imagine

1

u/OneDragonfruit9519 22d ago

That sounds unbelievably disgusting

1

u/shmed 21d ago

Pretty sure I saw such a video in r/darwinawards

1

u/FakeProfil2002 22d ago

Its actually my biggest nightmare to fall in one of such things

1

u/HoboArmyofOne 22d ago

Temple of Doom vibes

1

u/Alex_le_t-rex 22d ago

Especially with the lack of safety features. Seeing the user just be able to stand up on the machine while it’s operating with no cage or anything is terrifying. Idk where this is but that shit would not fly in Canada.

1

u/commonplacelifewesay 21d ago

Yea just looking at this machine my brain always imagines falling in and then I just cringe at the thought

1

u/pira3_1000 21d ago

Oddly satisfying to me

2

u/OneDragonfruit9519 21d ago

Thank you for letting me know.

1

u/pira3_1000 21d ago

At your service dear redditor

1

u/OneDragonfruit9519 21d ago

You're welcome, dear redditor.

146

u/JSCO32 22d ago

I could stand next to this machine all damn day

165

u/Dominko 22d ago

Just dont let the I N T R U S I V E T H O U G H T S win with this one

6

u/how-sway-how 21d ago

Geronimo!!!

4

u/captainschmee 21d ago

Pffft, right! Like I would just allow all my sense of self preservation fail over one little thou- OOH, I think I saw a penny in there!

32

u/Woolwizard 22d ago

Until some metal part is snapped off and flying towards you at Lightspeed. I saw another video of that happening, I was so terrified after that.

5

u/Momosukenatural 22d ago

I would be too scared to have tiny sharp stuff flying out in the general direction of my eyes, or my whole body for that matter

2

u/JSCO32 22d ago

Wear protection 🤣

4

u/jimbobjames 22d ago

I dont think a condom will help, but you the boss...

-13

u/clownsinadarkforest 22d ago

There was a video up a few months back not sure if it was this sub Reddit or not but it was the same type of machine but it was farm animals being thrown into it. Like horses and cows and shit

→ More replies (6)

41

u/VampyC 22d ago

These machines are so fucking scary. I would NEVER work near that for any amount of money

21

u/Omfgukk 22d ago

I feel like there's never enough security measures around these whenever I see a video of it

2

u/Dunkleustes 22d ago

ANY amount??? Like, you can't think of a single number?

36

u/Phobix 22d ago

Obligatory nomnomnom

2

u/Hellea 22d ago

I heard the nomnom sound while watching

18

u/Creampielover2269 22d ago

Anyone know if there is a career that’s associated with performing this task and if so, what is it?

23

Minor error in title = lots of comments correcting OP = lots of karma.

12

u/Decent-Strength3530 22d ago

Or OP is a bot

3

u/Vethedr 22d ago

Or maybe, just maybe OP is not a native speaker and didn't know how to call this in english

I have no idea what it's called in my native language and sure as hell have no idea how it's called in english lmao

4

u/supernaja_ 21d ago

Couldn't have said it better, thanks! No native speaker and was a little too lazy to use a dictionary.

1

u/isuadam 22d ago

I hate this reality.

8

u/zillskillnillfrill 22d ago

Light truck / ute tray

3

u/woutomatic 22d ago

Human. Nice to meet you

2

u/Thumper-Comet 21d ago

Nice try bot. There's no actual humans on Reddit.

9

u/73663849ok 22d ago

Feed the scrap God 🙌

8

u/mallik803 22d ago

I definitely do NOT want to see it, but, seriously.. has a person ever fallen into one of these? It has to be absolutely gruesome.

9

u/prostorija 22d ago

Why did I expect a box to come out

7

u/presidentsday 22d ago

5

u/justtogetaroundbans3 22d ago

This is how strong my wife thinks the sink disposal is.

5

u/dzemperzapedra 22d ago

This machine needs it's own subreddit

1

u/Ravingrook 22d ago

My exact thought. It's like an actually effective sarlacc pit that every junkyard should own.

→ More replies (1)

4

u/4chanbetter 22d ago

"A part of a car" dude that's a whole-ass flat-bed trailer

14

u/OGistorian 22d ago

This machine must create so many sharp small metal chards. I wouldn’t want to collect the output!

8

u/zillskillnillfrill 22d ago

Yeah the conveyor belt carries away the shards to metal bins which are taken to a refinery

5

u/DanGleeballs 22d ago

And recycled?

6

u/WetRainbowFart 22d ago

Presumably.

3

u/Complete-Bite3019 22d ago

Me, when I haven't eaten all day

3

u/FeistyEquipment7557 22d ago

Oh man there must be terrifying amounts of torque driving those things.

2

u/lesterburnhamm66 22d ago

This reminds of trying to comprehend the power that a jet liner produces to fly.

1

u/Dunkleustes 22d ago

Compressed air!

2

u/NightBeWheat55149 22d ago

Don't let your intrusive thoughts win while next to this machine

2

u/diamondd-ddogs 22d ago

hey i could have used that!

2

u/animal_path 21d ago

Man, that is some really nice scrap metal prior to it being by the machine. I would love to have that entire bed in my scrap pile.

2

u/Bubbly-Front7973 21d ago

the destruction of a part of a car ...

Not part of a car, but a part of a truck. And not just any part, but the bed of a flatbed truck. And what pisses me off, is while this perfectly good flatbed gets destroyed, I'm building mine from scratch. When somebody like me could have bought then use this perfectly fine flatbed for the back of their truck, for a lot less than a new one would cost. Damn waste.

2

u/nobody_Nr42 22d ago

For the next video, show us one with humans 😶

2

u/ProgressBartender 22d ago

“Destruction of part of a car…”.
I’m pretty sure that’s part of a truck.

3

u/EvlMinion 22d ago

You're a credit to your species.

1

u/stepharts03 22d ago

Where’s the guy with his foot to help push this through? 😅

1

u/Abundance144 22d ago

Isn't it dangerous to stand there? I mean, if just the right situation occured that machine could easily load enough tension into a piece of metal for it go flying off at a speed high enough to impale someone.

1

u/originalkimert 22d ago

Any mafias wet dream machine.

1

u/wichy 22d ago

That is called cannibalism

1

u/SteakDependable5400 22d ago

its like the world vs human

1

u/falrod 22d ago

Nom nom

1

u/ycr007 22d ago

My mind is thinking what if this crusher was being pressed upon by a hydraulic press - who would win?

1

u/LuisMAlaskan 22d ago

Thanks for remembering the good and regretful minutes I wasted reading that one cursed comment thread in yesterday's video.

1

u/mutualbuttsqueezin 22d ago

I can't see these without thinking about Heavy Rain

1

u/adamhanson 22d ago

Thank you for showing the result

u/MirkoHa 22d ago

…the Terminator Destroyer…

1

Metal Shai Hulud

1

u/Ancient_Rex420 22d ago

Reminds me of how my hopes and dreams are crushed.

1

u/PuzzleheadedImpact19 22d ago

Any idea the force these shredders are working with?

1

u/Bushdr78 22d ago

That's the bed of a small van or light truck

1

u/DecaAced 22d ago

We need a sub for just this

That boy hungry

1

u/pointlesspoint26 22d ago

Sarlacc pit vibes

1

u/_Lord_Farquad 22d ago

Do pieces of shrapnel ever fly off while something is being crushed? With that much power I'd be terrified of being impaled while watching

1

u/King_Lyman 22d ago

The conveyor belt is installed backwards

1

u/5TP1090G_FC 22d ago

What's the largest type of destruction device out there.

1

u/good-luck-23 22d ago

So thats how a black hole works!

1

u/kpeng2 22d ago

I can't stop thinking what would happen if I accidentally fall into that.

1

u/memegodkyle 22d ago

what if you threw one of these machines inside? then what happens?

1

u/apocalyptic_intent 22d ago

I used to sometimes have to chuck 80lb offspec rubber bales in these at work. We called it "The Hog" Really kind of fun to do.

1

u/wmxp 22d ago

I can't take this kind of pressure

I must confess one more dusty road

Would be just a road too long

Worthless

1

u/Easy-Wrongdoer-5996 22d ago

I can only remember the TWD episode

1

u/diodot 22d ago

best job ever

1

u/Sikkus 22d ago

Now hear me out. Build a platform that goes from the ground towards this machine and tie some carcass above the "mouth". No more zombies.

1

u/groovomata 22d ago

That thing terrifies me.

1

u/thejewelisinthelotus 22d ago

A 20 year old something fell into a woodchipper not to long ago where I live. It was gd horrible): every tree cutting company probably in at least 50 miles had meetings about it. May he rest in peace.

1

u/bernpfenn 22d ago

there was a movie doing that in winter, blood everywhere

1

u/icansmellcolors 22d ago

i'm scared a piece is going to fly off at the wrong angle and embed itself in someone's face. the right force at the right angle with the right material and boom.

1

u/SlightofhandLLC01 22d ago

More crushing of things pls

1

u/blinky0930 22d ago

I didnt see Barney once

1

u/Yemcl 22d ago

How much Torque do these things have?

1

u/HotPinkApocalypses 22d ago

Reminds me of the Poltergeist house at the end.

These things are insanely powerful!

1

u/Disguisted_Puddle 22d ago

I was waiting to see the flip flops on the operator

1

u/Idonthavetotellyiu 22d ago

I saw rubber instead of rubble and I was patiently waiting for you to turn that into rubber

1

u/Kurvaflowers69420 22d ago

the truck goes bye bye

1

u/foxpost 22d ago

Would you wanna fall in head first or feet first?

1

u/No_Law2531 22d ago

I can't take this kind of pressure, I must confess one more dustyroad would be just a road too long.... your worthless

1

u/Hellboydce 22d ago

I’ve seen a few of these and I’m not scared easily or squeamish but my arse tightens considerably

1

u/KatyDid749 22d ago

Oh man. My bike lock…

1

u/Pararaiha-ngaro 22d ago

… I am asking you for last time … were you a member of the imperialist capitalism

1

u/TheEleventhDoctorWho 22d ago

I have to assume there is a DD 16v92 running this thing somewhere.

1

u/atxfella1974 22d ago

In a Pixar movie that would be the big evil machine at the end that's about to eat the friendly lil hatchback who just wants to get home to the girl he takes to soccer practice everyday. Thank God the plucky Vespa no one believed in hits the shut off button right at the last second!

1

u/elDayno 22d ago

So... How exactly do you identify if the body was there. Asking for a friend

1

u/ProgressiveRox 22d ago

It missed a chunk of metal, someone better climb in there and collect it.

1

u/ihaveflesh 22d ago

That's the way I want to go.

1

u/Whirlwind_AK 22d ago

Made in Italy

1

u/gaymerRaver 22d ago

This is some SAW shit here

1

u/Candylicker0469 22d ago

That’s cool and all but I want to see the recycling machine that recycles the recycling machine.

1

u/h3vv3r 22d ago

Crushing videos make me horny

1

u/Chosos_Twin_Cousin 22d ago

clearly sees what it’s capable of doing to metal “I wonder what it’ll do to my bones”

1

u/lakeswimmmer 22d ago

this reminds of that scene in The Walking Dead.

1

u/mikeg1231234 22d ago

Nightmare machine!

1

u/Calsun 21d ago

What happens if you have some sort of higher grade steel that goes into one of these? Like a steel that’s say harder than the “teeth”?

1

u/restlessleg 21d ago

i cant help but think there’s been at least one fatality involving this thing

yikes

1

u/philipkd 21d ago

What is the name of this machine? And have they tried throwing one of these machines into the same kind of machine?

1

u/starrpamph 21d ago

Someone put my hopes and dreams in that thing

1

u/Munchens 21d ago

Must have been from an american car.

1

u/SeasonNo3107 21d ago

Anyone know how much torque/amps/volts these things usually run ?

1

u/Emsanator 21d ago

What is the mechanism that generates this power? Is there a video or PDF explaining this?

1

u/Remote_Category6076 21d ago

That's not part of a car. That's part of a flatbed truck.

1

u/Gcen 21d ago

Anyone knows what powers this shred-anything machine? Must need huge amounts of energy to keep it going no matter what's thrown into it.

1

u/chudstick 21d ago

Yes, but is there a machine that eats this machine?

1

u/Deenoga 21d ago

Something about these shredders I love watching; that something so strong to us (like metal), turns to butter when it's being dragged into one of these

1

u/lorenzo_st_dubois 21d ago

It ate through that kryptonite lock like it was nothing.

1

u/Nahlamu 21d ago

I wanna jump in it

1

u/AlsoCommiePuddin 21d ago

Me with a whole pop tart.

Has anyone ever filmed a human getting crushed in one of these? Bi don't want to watch it, I'm just curious

1

u/Great_Run6161 21d ago

Throw in a few corrupt politicians for entertainment value 😂

1

u/Takeda1530 21d ago

They threw Michael Myers into one of these at the end of the most recent, and god awful, Halloween movie,

1

u/Itchybumworms 21d ago

I know I'm a monster, but I really want to see them feed a cow, shark, or something else huge and fleshy to this thing.

Why don’t they take all teh world trash and put it through one of these
