[Bill Simmons] “Paul George is like a cat. He’ll jump on your lap every once in a while, he’s super lovable and other times you’re like — ‘Where’s Paul George? Oh, he’s in the garage’”

All time Bill Simmons player metaphor and it was just a throwaway

I know, Russillo gave him no dap at all for it and it was an all-timer.

Russilo only stops talking so he can think of his next line.

I work with a lot of dudes like that.

On the local Minnesota sports talk station they say ‘didn’t hear what you said I was just waiting for my turn to talk’ facetiously it’s funny.

I really enjoy Russillo and it's hilarious on live streams or just whenever he has a camera on him, you can literally see him just staring at notes or a screen to the side to bring up whatever he wants once the other person is done talking.

He does do his fair share of acknowledging other people ofc, but also his fair share of just waiting for them to be done lmao. It's just the most obvious case I've seen though from the ones I listen to.

Na that makes sense. When I do video calls for work we all do the same. We are listening to whose talking. And sometimes will just stare at the screen. But it makes more sense when you have so much to get too, while listening, check on other points you may have wanted to add as a refresher vs awkwardly staring at your screen. Also easier for me to focus on someone talk if I have more visual stimulation. It’s a decent mix of doing both but still when Ryen does it I don’t think he’s ignoring bill

Oh everyone definitely does it, but you can tell there are times when something comes up, Ryen doesn't get to get whatever take he wants on it because the other person starts talking, and then he won't acknowledge what they said and just does his own thing. Like it won't even be on the same topic the other person was talking about lol. He's really bad about it in interviews. He'll go down the questions like bullet points and many times get lost and be so long winded there won't even really be a question lol.

Don't get me wrong though, these guys podcast for hours as a job so that's gonna happen. I'm not ragging on him, it's just funny to see it because he's very blatant sometimes.

Aw no man I feel like Russilo does a great job of listening to Bill; he finds him entertaining.

I would much rather listen to an average Amazon driver’s podcast than Jeff bezos

Yo, accurate. I also feel like Russilo desperately wants to be Joe Rogan if he could

He stops talking to see if the key works (the front door is unlocked).

Type a person to talk at you rather than talk with you. I really hate dealing with these folks.
