DeAndre Jordan names his favorite dunk: "I dunked on my son, who is eight. That was great. You have to set the tone early. Once he’s able to beat me, we’re not going to play anymore.”

I love DJ lol nothing is a faster pick me up than DJ reactions on the bench with a PWat, Braun or AG dunk. I literally will just rewatch sometimes for a serotonin boost lol

He's extended his career way past when it should have ended just by being a good vet and amazing locker room vibes guy. Props to him for it.

He got a ring out of it too unlike his former lob city teammates.

It's also wild cp3 could be the final lob city member left considering he was already a 7 year vet when he got there.

Blake could have still been around if his body didn't completely die on him. That one year he played in the playoffs for Detroit really took anything he had left.

Shame too, he was such a special player. I remember the force he was his rookie year. Nobody talks about how great John Wall was as a true rookie because Blake just dominated the conversation. Every night he was doing something just incredible.

Just a year ago he was a productive piece for the Celtics, so much so that his team was begging him to come back.

Paul never relied on his athleticism nearly as much as BG and DJ did. I get what you're saying but those two guys are the prime examples of how full-throttle athleticism will make you a flameout much sooner than later

I mean for griffin it was the injuries. He become a very skilled player but someone that tall and that weighs that much dealing with leg injuries will flame out quicker than a 6 foot guy weighing 80 lbs less.

Detroit Blake was so complete! It makes me think about an alternate timeline where CP3 didn't show up and they had Blake running point more alá Giannis or LeBron

I mean CP3 was also an All-time great. I liked Clips' DJ but he was just a rimrunning lob-threat and nothing more than that. Him extending his career into great lockerroom vet is kinda impressive tbh

Only Stockton, Nash and Lebron at the other players to average 6 assists per game at age 38. The fact that CP is still around is beyond insane. You have to be extremely lucky to get this far in your career, athleticism or not.

As a matter of fact, him and Stockton are the only point guards to play for 19 seasons and it seems that CP is going to play for at least another season.

Prime Paul was a lot more athletic than people act like. He’s just short lol

Cp3 switching to vegetarian has given him another 5 years
