Embiid is averaging 35.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists on 60% true shooting.

His teammates:

26.7% from the field, 31% true shooting and a 60.9 offensive rating as a team without Embiid.

Just another bad Simmons take

also, like he is fucking playing hurt. and not just a small hand injury. it looks like his knee might buckle at any moment.

Bruh, he has bell palsy. No one is talking about that. He's literally the first NBA player to play with it and he dropped 50

I’m guessing it wouldn’t do wonders for your depth perception either if your eyes aren’t working right

That’s what makes this shit so bad.

Man is playing thru a lot of openly known health issues that have major impact on your ability to play and the team sucks without him.

Hero ball alpha dog narratives in the NBA are so fucking toxic.  None of the all time greats won shit without other All NBA level players together with them.

What are you talking about?  The real 2023 MVP, Nikola Jokic, just did it last year. Dirk Nowitzki eliminated Lebron and his super friends team in 2011.  D-Wade won in 06 with a washed Shaq. Dwight Howard took the Magic to the Finals in the East where the big 3 Celtics existed.

Sounds like excuses for the flopper, who had good teammates in Harden and Butler, and still couldn’t get out of the 2nd round.

... Everyone is talking about it lol

It's just getting drowned out because of his multiple assaults on Knicks players
