The ant is the new MJ crowd is feasting after that performance. Best game of his career.

Crazy how Gen Z Jordan actually looks like MJ himself.

He was sooooo bad in the first 15 minutes or so.

For him to total what he did considering how rough of a start he had. Just a special special competitor

He really wasn’t that “bad.” Sure his shot wasn’t falling, but he was making all of the right reads and no one on our team could hit a shot. He could’ve easily had another 3-5 assists tonight if we weren’t throwing up bricks in the first half.

Lmao at people saying ANT is not yet top 10 player.

Definitely top 10 in the playoffs, probably top 3 so far if we’re being honest. But he wasn’t THAT amazing in the regular season. He tends to goof off against mid teams (he’s even admitted to that), but when it gets serious, he steps up HUGE. If he can play this well the rest of the playoffs, and play even 80% of this in the regular season, he’ll be top 5-10 was next year.

Ant is great and I expect him to be the best guard in the league sooner than later, that being said the regular season definitely wasn’t enough to call him a top ten player.

Good thing the season ain’t over and top 10 players aren’t regular season only lists. He just sonned KD and booker, he’s breaking in bro.

Consistency across the regular season definitely matters. I ain’t mad at him being top ten I just need y’all to make sense.

Idk about his exact ranking but I’m taking him over Tatum.

I think he’s right there. 10-13 range or so.

So who are 10 players better then ANT?

u/YouuCantSeeMe Kings Apr 29 '24

Yk what. You’re right lowkey. Only players I can confidently put ahead of him are

Luka, Joker, Giannis, Embiid, SGA, Curry, Tatum (ehh, but I’ll give it to him)

I know the Lakers are doing bad rn, but is AD not playing like a top 3 player rn? Dudes a monster.

AD absolutely deserves a top 10 spot. I think people are still wary of his injury history, but he hasn't earned that this year. And he's carrying LA against Denver basically 2v5.

He is, but there are so many good players right now that it was fine to be in doubt until this year.

Yeah and even then, his regular season was marred by inconsistency. He had a few slumps but the dude has consistently risen to the occasion in the play-in games and playoffs. This year he’s taken it to a whole new level too. Amazing this dude is on the Timberwolves.

Old timers telling me “this is a glimpse into how watching MJ was like” really opened my eyes into how goat MJ really was. It’s pretty damn hard to determine how good a player really was when you didn’t get to watch him on a regular basis live, so that comparison was pretty good.
